I'm happy to hear someone (who liked the first book) talk about this one in a way that discusses all the aspects of the book with an open mind.
I felt like this one or two passes away from being good. Almost like Ernest published an early draft by mistake. As you said tighten up the story, maybe add the low five in as a B-Plot, and make a few other changes, and you would have a decent little novel.
The elite geek 😂😂😂 I would love a novella of the low five adventure! Such a huge part of the story and we get none of it! I liked RP2 a lot more before I watched the RPO movie 🙊
This confirms every suspicion I had about this one (and more kindly than I’ve seen elsewhere). I’ll be skipping it personally but great review!
I didn't even realise that this was a book so thank you. Picking up the first one from the library on Saturday.

Yay I’m glad!!
Same.Though I would have rather enjoyed a different narrator on both books than Wil Wheaton, someone who adds a bit more inflection on the different characters. I like the guy and he's great for the nerd factor, and all but every character sounds exactly the same.

Oh yeah that's actually super true lol. I guess I just enjoy his voice enough that I really didn't think about it, but you are definitely right the characters are pretty much all the exact same sounding 😂
Nice video! Great review style and funny too! Also excellent editing 👍🏻

Thank you so much!
This book went from a 6/10 to 4/10 when I reach the ending.

Yeah honestly if I had read it in physical book form I think it would have done a lot worse for me. Will Wheaton’s narration style is just really likeable, so even tho Wade was ... not cool ... I didn’t hate him as hard as I could have.
We were almost exactly the same as far as length. I told my lady I don't know how many pages the book is but it could stand to lose 100 pages.
I still want to read the first one but yah...will probably skip number two

There are so many books in the world 🤷🏼♀️ Number one is definitely a must read though!
Yeah, I'm feeling the same way about it right now. It's mostly a big bundle of meh, with some fun moments throughout. It rides the line of average really hard...
