The ending of this book tore my heart out. I had to create the next chapter in my head so I could feel less heartbroken… a happy ending for me in Del Norte.

I just finished the book and felt so heartbroken I searched online for comfort and this is exactly what i’m feeling, I choose to believe in hope otherwise is too hurtful

Just finished reading it, and aaah your 'shrivelled prune' description is very on point!! Thanks for the video, I'm lad to know I'm not the only one on which the book had that effect

This sounds really interesting! I think you’re right that the Shakespearean language will either be a big selling point or big turn off based on what someone is looking for.

At first I was like “ahhh this is a bit much” but then I fell into it and didn’t mind it anymore. I could totally see someone flinging the book across the room over it though 😂

I liked it. Without spoiling it, I found that Oliver was too loyal of a friend.

I had gotten the audio version of this book for a vacation (great narrator!) but found myself getting a bit lost so I looked at a bunch of KZread reviews to try to decide whether it was worth my buying the book to read first. Yours is the review that convinced me to go ahead. Thank you!

I need to borrow this one!

This is a GREAT book! I love it! If you don't really like Shakespeare, get the audio. It will make you make you laugh, cry, read Shakespeare and look out for the next theatre production of a Shakespearian tragedy. So good!! After reading the paperback I ordered to read for my book club, I preordered the deluxe hardback copy, signed with sprayed edges. I loved it that much!!

I have almost finished the book, I have at least 200 to 300 pages left. and it hasn't really been my cup of tea. I'm getting quite bored with it really, I just want to finish it and get it done and over with. Idk, I think it's because I don't know much about Shakespeare and stuff so it got a bit confusing at times. I might give it enother go in a month or two.

The middle part of the book was trash ngl. The ending is worth it tho
