We just slowly stopped speaking with each other and lost interest in each others lives. And then you just stop hanging out and texting and that's it. Sometimes people get in another stage of life, they outgrow people or it does not feel comfortable talking anymore. Now I still have a few close friends and I like it that way!

It is scary that his anger lead him to a senseless killing, and killing animals in the manner he did usually leads to crimes that are much more heinous. I hope that girl is safe. Tbh it's sad, cause shes wasting not only her time but someone else's which is what makes it harder. If she really loved him she wouldn't be loving someone else, she shouldn't of gotten married and really I do believe she might of gotten married cause she believed itll help her move on cause really the most intermate moments sometimes really show what they really mean to you and if he's expressing himself and being vulnerable to her by making love to her and allowing her to see all his faults and see him truly and is thinking about someone else it's not good. She wasting his time when he could be vulnerable with someone else who appreciates him and thinks of him in the moment. She probably does appreciate him, but clearly her heart is still in for her ex and really she shouldn't of gotten married if she had unresolved issues feelings with her ex. And plus, this is hurts not just her but him. It really will, itll build up insecurities within him when he enters another relationship and will have intimate moments such as making love, or sitting down in a restaurant or just having heart to heart moments and that's the most selfish decision anyone can make on their part by hurting and wasting another person's time when having unresolved feelings and issues. Tbh I dont rate her

While I understand where you are coming from, I am still in love with my first love but we broke up because our paths didn’t quite match (he was Mormon, I wasn’t and wasn’t interested and he wanted to get married and I didn’t want to right away). Now he’s married and it’s been 4 years and now I’m in another relationship. I love my current boyfriend but sometimes I spend time imagining what it would be like to have not broken up with my first boyfriend. Maybe her ex is married now too and it’s not so easy? She will get through it.

So. My mom left my dad for killing our dog, he claimed it attacked the cat, the cat was also dead but had non-dog related wounds so my mom just nodded and said she was going back to the car because she forgot something, she grabbed me and my brother and hightailed it to the next town. She knew he was psycho, my uncle then went to our house (he's an officer) and found he was planning on killing me and my brother. So yeah, thank god for my mother. (I'm not looking for sympathy just thought this went with the theme of the video) Edit: I didn’t expect this to get seen by so many but thank you, I’ve read to my mom everything polite being said, she appreciates it! I was visiting my mother out of state, and wasn’t able to control the situation. But she didn’t care. I didn’t realize just how toxic she was until that moment. In our 6 yrs of friendship she was always extremely possessive. Every friend is made she’d either disapprove of immediately or slowly draw a wedge in between. We lived together 3 years. In that time I didn’t have any relationships, and rarely left the house. If I did she was with me. I didn’t go to college bc of her. She spent all my savings. Sure she was nice sober & bought me a lot of things, and housed me.....but it came at a price. And I wish I allowed myself to outgrow her sooner. I wish it wasn’t my baby’s death that finally allowed to to see.

I think it is an infatuation about the idea of "what if" My first love died very young in high school. We went out for a year beforehand. 8 years later I have a fiance now, and I told him about my past love life to start off on a clean slate. We worked it out and realized my feelings are not of still being in love but rather guilt and regret over not being there in his last moments. When we leave relationships we tend to hold onto the positives versus when we are in a relationship we can tend to harp on the negatives, so I think a lot of people go through a sense of rose colored glasses when thinking about their firsts loves especially. I know for a fact that my first love and I would not have worked out because we had major trust issues due to myself being insecure about my weight and him being unsupportive emotionally. Once I realized that it became so much easier to let go and move on with a person who wants to grow with me and I am deeply in love with.

I get you, just wanna say I appreciate you not getting into a relationship with someone before you're not over your ex. You really saved yourself and someone else the heart break and the emotional turmoil! But maybe, for you to move on from your ex, you need to address things. I dont know your situation at all but if you have unfinished business, you really should address that to them and say to them how you really feel and then leave them to their life. Block em if you have to. Cause you shouldn't let that eat away at you and shouldn't stop you from getting into a relationship with someone who will bring you better things than your ex but also allows you to go into your next relationship with an open heart. You'll probably will love your ex, they'll always be apart of your past but you'll learn and begin to love your next boyfriend or husband more than you did your ex and well you deserve that, 100%

You never know what they're going through so be nice ALWAYS. Even if it has no impact because it will make you feel better at least. Being silent is better than being mean but being nice is so so much better than being silent. Compliment something they may be insecure about randomly. You'll get a better reputation and people can trust you to lean on during tough times. This can prevent bad thoughts or at least help. Like I said, a single compliment can go so far

It makes me sad that this happens to people. I saw these situations in movies. I trust a lot of people. This just makes me think about what my life could have been or how someone close to me could just ruin me. I wish that I could do something but I know I would just sit on my bed and ignore it. I know that makes me look bad. But I thought that it wasn't serious and never understood depression or anxiety since I was confident and considered myself brave. So I expected those traits in others. We definitely experience different types of love throughout our life. Often, our first love is quite intense and fast paced. Sometimes we look back and think that we didn't know what love was, or that we'll never have another one like it. To be honest I believe that we never truly fall out of it, there will always be a small mustard grain of love for somebody in our hearts, whether it's for them, who they used to be or even a memory we shared. Regardless of that, the love that this person has for their ex is not a small grain. You're still consumed by a past relationship and it's clear you've never moved on. Although i understand a vulnerability in decision making that some exes have with us, it's extremely selfish and unfair to have married somebody and imagine another. I understand you may feel like you're in too deep now, but the longer you wait, the more time of your husband's you waste. Maybe you posted this to get it off your chest, or maybe in hopes that somebody reading it would tell you what's going on is okay. It's not. Please either talk to somebody to move on, or respect your partner enough to tell them the truth and decide what to do from there.
