I remember an Earthquake: The Ride comment that said "R.I.P. to the thousands of people who died on this tragic day." People were going nuts trying to correct him when he was clearly joking. Was funny cuz people like me were going along with it, getting people so mad.

Yes, I can relate to these reviewers. I gave Dollywood a one star rating myself. The rides falsely claimed that we would experience thrilling weather phenomena that only a true storm chaser would appreciate. However, we were deeply disappointed that we did not experience any lightening on Lightening Rod or hear any thunder on Thunderhead or see any actual tornados while in Tennessee. Also, the workers were just simply too friendly and nice. One of workers had the audacity to give us a free shirt to one of my family members just because he looked like he was cold. I mean, she made us feel like we were too poor to afford clothes or something. And what's up with all the smoke coming out of the mountains. Don't they know that second hand smoke is unhealthy. They really need to have a designated smoking section for that kind of thing. Geesh!

The Yankee Cannonball at Canobie Lake Park usually has a big sign on the turnaround that says FREE PARKING (because it's at the edge of the parking lot). I like to annoy people by saying Free Parking is the name of the coaster.

@@MrWordcat What made it even funnier was that my then 6 year old daughter (12 now) was reading it to me and her big brother (18 now) I just texted them and neither remembers the ride but I guess my daughter started cracking up in class. Thankfully her teacher has a sense of humor and texted me back: "I'm taking Berea's phone, but she WILL get it back at the end of the day. She scared the crap out of half the class when she scream-laughed like a hyena!!"

I laughed so hard when the person who wrote the review got mad at Taylor for being a mean security guard

I recently had to tell my mom Yelp reviews exaggerated the mess out of everything for no reason. This was a treat to see after explaining that. Also talking about the paid parking thing, I wish it was free. It seems unnecessary from a guest’s point of view. I’m sure there’s an explanation for it, I just don’t know why personally.

I mean the easy explanation is just money, right ? Most guests will come by car and have no other convenient choice than to park their car in this parking lot, allowing the park to charge as much as they want for it

Paying to park helps keep "riff raff" from hanging out in the parking lot just to break into cars and steal stuff. IT also keeps people from meeting there just to use their parking lot as a carpool meeting location.

Tbh parking fees make sense. You want to promote other modes of transportation so there is fewer noise for the surrounding, fewer queues on local roads and so you need less space for parking (and thus have more space for potential expansions). On top of that, its a way to keep the admissionprice lower

Ok, the guy who claims he wants to end up with "Shaken Baby Syndrome" is obviously a Mean Streak fan.

Funny thing is, back in 2012, I upgraded my Cedar Point season pass to a platinum pass mainly for the free parking. Then I found out about the early entry, extra ride nights (RIP), and free upgrade to fast lane plus. Add to that admission to all the other cedar fair parks too, and the parking was the main thing that got me to upgrade. I kind of feel embarrassed telling this now.

I wish these kind of videos were longer! I have to hold back my laughter and I work at my office’s front desk and my snorts ECHO 🤣🤣

The best part is the Castles n' Coasters guy typing *costumer* instead of *customer* **chef's kiss**

The fact that KI is the better park should have been the selling point. Who am I to judge though, I upgraded to platinum in 2012 from a CP season pass just for the free parking. More than glad I did back then, because that made me go to some of the other parks I can get into with it. KI is a better park in my opinion. CP has better rides, but KI is the better park. Edit: also, it's an hour and a half to CP, and 4 to KI. I would rather drive to KI, with 4 kids in the car.

@@steveo7771286 north(ish)east OH. Also, I have 4 kids. Yes, the rides do play a big part in how good a park is, but the overall park experience is much better at Kings Island. Cedar Point has elite coasters. It also has a feeling of a corporate environment. Where I can take the whole family, relax, and have everyone have a good time at KI, the kids run out of things to do fast at CP since they're not quite big enough to get on all the coasters. The staff is much friendlier at KI. The atmosphere is nicer. I just think that KI feels like a family run park, while CP feels corporate. That's the best way I can explain it.

Forget not taking Sarah to Silverdollar City, how could you take her to Kings Island and not let her experience blue ice-cream. 😲

SDC quit hosting weddings......probably so they wouldn't get stuck legally in a situation and have to let some gays get married there.

Real defense the waffle cones at KD fall apart too easily. SWP&E waffle cones are seriously wayyyy better
