My cat also thinks all my crochet projects are for him, naturally, especially while i'm in the process of making them. so i actually made him a little bed/cushion out of really bulky chenille, he won't even touch it.

I love this video concept! A fun prompt could be preparing a meal inspired by the book/characters - either something mentioned in the text or something you think the characters would eat.

I adore your "my head hurts but I'm being really brave about it" jumper. As a fellow migraine sufferer I need it!

I rolled my TBRs for all of 2022, and a few times in 2023. I had a loooooong list of prompts that I sorted by interest, and drew prompts based on what I rolled on a d20. Things I wasn’t really interested in were for 2-4 rolls, my favorite things were for 17-19 rolls, and so on. On a 1 I had to finish a book I’d DNFed and on a 20 I got to pick any book I wanted. It was so much fun that 90% of my motivation to finish the current month’s TBR was so I could roll for a new one!

This is the first time I've seen anyone do a book bingo like that! Please do it again sometime!! 💝For other prompts how about 'read a chapter outdoors' or 'take your book along on a picnic' (in good spring weather I mean!). And I DNF'd Ninth House after around 5 chapters, because I was so bored! When something did happen it wasn't exciting enough (I kept thinking of ways certain scenes would've been more fun) and I also started to dislike the MC. I just assumed she was studying english lit because in the first chapter where she's late, it's because she had to write an essay for modern british novel but fell asleep in the library.

I loved this. I would absolutely suggest you keep doing this challenge for as long as you have fun with it. It really was fun to watch and served your mood readery ways perfectly, I think. And it got you reading! (Your basket and the cats claiming it for themselves was a personal highlight, but this was all around a success anyway.)

I love making bingo cards for stuff like waiting at the airport or going on vacation, making one for a book is such a good idea and would help as motivation. Thanks for the idea!

In the US it’s quite common to not declare your major until your junior year. The first two are your general Ed requirements like English, Math, history and science that you have to take to graduate.

I tried Ninth House last year, was not in the mood for a complicated read and read the first 10 pages and put it down 😅 I still have it in my tbr but I'm now scared of it 😂

I also have a D20 TBR game I've been looking to spruce up to include lifestyle challenges and prompts and it feels like everything clicked when i saw this video! I love your readathons and TBR games because they manage to be cozy but also elaborate at once and that scratches the itch for gamifying these kinds of things! Can't wait for the next episode!😊

Loved this idea! Also, did you use a pattern for the basket? Now I'm really interested in making one as well (: Some ideas for prompts could be: make a spotify playlist based on the atmosphere of the book - find an outfit that the MC would wear (and wear it for a day, if you want) - find your favourite quote from the book ...

In the US you can do your first 2 years as “undeclared” for your major but I think Bardugo was just like that’s unimportant (aka forgot?) bc Alex is not really there for the academics 😂

I've been struggling hard with my reading and made my own TBR game to address that, too! I love yours- as a mood reader, it feels like it gives you flexibility but the boundaries you need to not get overwhelmed by choice. Plus, those printouts are gorgeous!

I absolutely adore this. I’ve watched it a couple times already. Such a good idea and a great vlog. For a prompt, you could make a playlist of songs for the book or even one for each chapter depending how many there are.
