The worker at the book store was extremely shallow and really does not know what he missed out on. "Everything that looks good isn't always good for you ",my mother always says so the young man that was turned down by the pretty bpy was more than likely better off. That shallow guy will find that every hunk aint always good .. believe you me.

Amari is the best friend everyone needs. He is 100% supportive of trying to help Carlos be brave. It's not easy, especially when you're shy, have low self-esteem, or any doubts about who you are asking out. The fact that Amari helped Carlos to just get it out there was awesome. It's even amazing that he was supportive with the result. This was a beautiful story. Seriously, this short story was well played and so relatable to many of us who have felt this way or been in this situation on all fronts.

It just reminds me of texting my friend who moved across the country that I had a crush on a coworker. She told me to go for it and update her on my next break. I have terrible self esteem, awful social anxiety, and a bad habit of overthinking things. Safe to say, I drew the courage to ask him out, and I was very fortunate he was very sweet when he said he had a girlfriend and profusely apologized. It actually made me feel better to get it off my chest and I was able to work the rest of the day a little lighter. It sucked, but I remember saying “you never know until you try, right?” He agreed and wished me a good rest of my day. He still smiled and greeted me every day afterwards, no awkwardness. Sometimes you just have to go for it. It’ll make you feel so much better when you do, and you never truly know until you try

Alright alright alright alright here we go 1) you set up characters immediately and instantly got across their goals and personality and that is extremely impressive. 2) you made a compelling story that made sense, was relatable, had conflict, and was incredibly enjoyable 3) you subverted expectations in a natural way, and managed to still leave with a happy ending for our protagonist 4) you were simply able to make an incredibly funny, cute, awkward, enjoyable short and even just that is really impressive! Great job all around. The acting, the writing, the camera work, everything is done super well and you honestly deserve so much more attention than this. Top of the line movie!!! Writing, acting, editing. And sound, which seems to be the biggest pitfall in so many YT gay-themed movies. The smile I had throughout was because, how many of us have Been There Done That? Or just been there and didn't do that? Thank goodness for Ari! I wondered if the guy was going to figure out if he was being stalked, and (politely) confront Carlos. No matter, I'm bookmarking this one to watch again and tell friends to watch, too.

When his straight, Bi or Pansexual bestie said, "HE MIGHT BE GAY...OR BI...OR PANSEXUAL!"... As a Pansexual/PanRomantic I literally almost cried because there are sooo few avenues of inclusion for people who look at "HEARTS NOT PARTS!"... AND the guy doesn't have to autofault to being strictly gay just because another person of the same sex likes him!... I'm sooooo happy to be included in the conversation. 🥺... Awwwww, the guy who liked the guy also said, "Liking Gay culture isn't strictly a Gay persons thing!"... BL and GL Stans and allys are also included!...I know sooo many non LGBTQ+ individuals who Stan BL and GL and are Allys... Also his bestie being an Ally...Gurl! 🥺... Also the fact he mentioned how you cannot always tell someone is Gay or LGBTQ+...Yes! We all talk about Gaydar and that's a thing, but ESPECIALLY with woman it's hard to tell because woman compliment each other on their outfits or hair or make-up often and they still aren't doing anything but pointing something out they like...So, it's REALLY hard to use your Gaydar on woman or Trans Woman. 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️... Gurl, YES!..."DON'T WAIT FOR THE RIGHT TIME, MAKE THE RIGHT TIME!"... Quotebof the week! 😎🥰😎... WAAAAA! THAT TWIST ENDING! 😳🥰

Absolutely love this! Okay, so this is me... There's guy I met at the coaching institute when I was preparing for medical entrance exam. He had a great masculine physique and a charming personality. I was drawn to him from the first day. I would watch him secretly and admire him whenever I could. Gradually, I developed feelings for him. But I couldn’t just stare at him forever. So, decided why not sit beside him? He sat at the back bench, where there were many empty seats. That’s how we started talking. We had a lot in common, especially our academic interests. He was kind, gentle, and helpful. His soft voice always made me smile. He was so cool. We became good friends and loved to chat about random things. I enjoyed every moment with him. But our time together was limited. The coaching was coming to an end soon. I wanted to tell him how much I liked him and how long I had been observing him. But I never did. I was afraid of his reaction. Maybe he was not into guys or maybe he was straight. I didn’t take the risk. And now I regret it. If only I had told him and faced the consequences, whatever they were.

This was WONDERFUL. The song, "Get to you"...the close friendship...the awkward crush....the feeling of being completely understood and supported...the feeling of being completely unseen and an outcast...the discovery that feeling unattractive obscures how attractive you are to others...from the very start to the end with the girl with the lollipop compounding the awkwardness, it t felt like a modern day John Hughes film. So sweet. I so love when we can see LGBTQ relationships evolve from tragedy to just the normal, terrible, beautiful experience of just growing up.
