I thought the name was spelled wrong ;-) . Hildegard von Bingen is a 12th-century nun, saint, and polymath. Many of her lyrics are still interesting today.

@@sharmvlog Blingin is not a German word, but Hildegard von is German. That's the only way it makes sense. The nun is still very well known in Germany today because, among other things, she wrote a book about medicinal herbs.

Hildegard von Blingin' is an intentional, humorous play on St. Hildegard's name, it is not a spelling error. Bligin' is an English slang word meaning to be very flash, or, showy, wearing lots of gawdy jewelry, or, "bling".

@@sharmvlog It is. And if you follow more of her videos, it's explained that the original von Bingen is a patron for our favored mistress of Bardcore. Von Blingin has even done a straight version of O Virtus Sapientiae on the anniversary of her death, September 17th, 1179.
