Agreed I just wish they were consistent. We see some brutal things like this and hand getting cut off but can’t see a storm trooper take damage from a lightsaber. Fix it

So glad we're getting to see Vader the way the rest of the galaxy does. Also, to people telling Kenobi to just run for the tunnels: two reasons he can't. 1. Vader knows he's there, and would track him. He literally can't stay with them without risking drawing Vader right to Leia. 2. He is paralyzed with mortal terror.

3. He hasn't seen Anakin in a decade. He's paralyzed with fear and morbid fascination at what Anakin's become.

The way Vader was just killing off random people to show Obi-Wan how much he has changed to strike fear into his heart, with Obi-Wan watching with complete and utter shock and terror... I swear, I love this show. It's everything I was hoping for so far

That's why I love this version of Darth Vader,so twisted and the brutality of killing the towns people just to get Kenobi out of hiding

To think that Anakin and Obi-wan were once the galaxy's greatest heroes.

I love this dark scary shit they’re injecting into Star Wars. It really feels like the stakes are super high even tho we already know what happens. The suspense is incredible

They aren't injecting it. It's always been there. We've just forgotten, and now we're getting a reminder.

Vader's rage was so strong Obi Wan couldn't help but feel overwhelming distress when he drew near.

I kinda feel bad that Leia had to see her father kill people without realizing it was her father to begin with.

I totally agree with the fact that he seems like Michael Myers : he's freaking as f*ck, he kill with no mercy (and i think he is worst than Myers because Myers didn't kill a kid) and stay really calm ! For me, its the best representation of Vador, and the best bad Guy

1:50 Kenobi's actual thoughts seeing Vader again: "If I had a credit for every time I seemed to kill a Sith Lord and he came back a cyborg, I'd have two credits. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice."

Underrated comment 💀

It's funny people wanted Vader's theme in that part, it simply wouldn't fit. This is about Obi-Wan, it's about his darkness. Vader's theme is the Imperial March, means the Imperial success, doesn't converse with this scene at all. There may be a remixed bit of Vader's theme maybe eventually, but i don't believe it would fit the series at all. Just do it, open a tab, open the imperial march and place it while the scene is running, all the dark eerie would go away because you would think it's a spectacle, Vader is bringing victory to the Empire. But it's not, it's just Obi-Wan scared to death.

John Williams is a master when it comes to music theory and orchestral composition. There's elements of the Imperial March but it's twisted to be much more dark and disturbing.

Hayden did an amazing job as Vader his mannerisms were on point.

That sequence, from when Vader walked around the corner to when the carrier droid had Obi Wan, was like Spielberg's version War of the Worlds. It is the worst kind of nightmare. No matter where you go it is there.

The difference between the Inquisitors and Vader. The inquisitors threaten, maybe cut of a limb. Darth Vader just straight ups snaps a child's neck.

Everybody is shocked because we never had a media giving us this Vader. This is at a time where Vader was at his most evil, where the empire has truly took control of the galaxy.

Darth Vader is a Complete Monster and is more Dangerous and Darth Vader is out for Obi-Wan

I feel that Vader didn’t know it was Obi-Wan in that town. He knew a Jedi was there, but didn’t know who specifically; but as he got closer, he felt that it was Obi-Wan, and that triggered Vader into a murderous rage.

I think the loop hole is you can show clips as long as ur doing commentary and showing ur face while doing it but I'm not sure

I absolutely loved getting to see Vader be the ruthless villain he is in the comics

@@reiffy76 - goodness it's been a while. So Obi goes to Mustafar, fight Ani, cuts of his legs (because you can't beat having the high ground) and leaves him for dead while he is engulfed in flames. Then witnesses the birth of Luke and Leia, and Padme dies. Meanwhile old Palps is fixing up Ani in a really nice dark suit of armor, he wakes up and yells NNOOOOOO (because Palps is a lying bastard).... Can't recall the exact moment Obi learned neither that Ani lives (because Reva had to TELL HIM 10 years later), nor that he is now Vader.... But please, tell me what I missed in RotS

@@reiffy76 - I don't recall if there is audio on the holo. But I'm pretty sure there isn't... But if there was, then why would he look so shocked when Reva told him Anakin was alive? She even says: "oh, you didn't know..." So I was actually wondering if he put the pieces of the puzzle together between episode 2 and 3, and if would get some footage of that realization... Because I'm thinking there would be an element of denial in there somewhere.... Like "no, it can't be... I killed him on Mustafar" or something like that.... More than a shocked look and then we move on...

SW fans - I want to see Vader, I want to see Vader. Also SW fans - Oh crap, I dont like this 😀

I’m a SW fan, and I love it. I get we haven’t seen Vader or even SW like this yet, but I think having more darker stuff makes it’s way more realistic and interesting to watch in my opinion.

Actually no, Despite his dictatorship Palpatine has an image to uphold. That's why Vader is pretty much his attack dog who does all the dirty stuff, and he'll come in and mend things his way. Plus if he want these people dead he will just order his officers to do the job.

I love how everyone is so shocked. Everyone forgets that Darth Vader and the empire was modeled after Hitler and Germany. He’s supposedly this super evil villain and then when they actually show the brutality, the softies are shocked yet almost everyone loves Darth Vader after all the insane things he’s done especially younglings and entire planets. Also, Vader was redeemed at the end of his life. This concept makes people lose their minds. Especially because Star Wars reflects Christianity and Jesus. Anyone can be forgiven and redeemed as long as their heart is genuine in repentance. Even people like Hitler or Jeffrey Dhalmer. Now everyone reading this is gonna lose their minds but guess what, the gospel isn’t fair to anyone. The fact that Christ died for all sinners in all of humanity. If anyone believes they will be saved. Yet none of us deserve that mercy! We should all suffer for our sins, no matter how small or huge they are. Let that sink in. Get angry at it. Or accept it. In the end, you’ll meet Christ as either Judge, or Savior. Your call my friend 🖐️
