"She's dead." That's how you know you've crafted a great villain. Vader is legendary tier because he is, at ALL TIMES, a threat to the heroes. (And other villains occasionally) If someone crosses your villain and the audience knows that character is dead... you've made a great villain.

With this fight, I kind of pitied Reva. All the sacrifices and moral compromises she made, all the people she killed, for this one shot to avenge her childhood friends. Vader effortlessly countered her attack, ran her through with her own lightsaber, and then revealed her identity which she concealed all along. In this fight, she doesn't even get the dignity of being a threat to him. He exposed her to be a cheap pawn that can be thrown when convenient.

People are rooting for Vader to kill and humiliate her because the character is a black woman.

By this point Vader was the character that did every side quest possible before tackling the main quest. He probably didn’t even break a sweat

I love how everyone's feeling towards reva is "do not" and they don't even fell bad they're just like "what did you expect was gonna happen?"

I love that everyone knows Reva’s fucked as soon as she approaches Vader.

Yep. Trilla basically accepted her fate. Reva wants to go down swinging. Besides, we’ve already seen Vader dominate her the previous episode via Force choke. He could’ve ended her there as well. Trilla actually has shown she’s capable, while Reva has just been ragdolled left and right by her fellow inquisitors.

U didn't take into account trilla was trained by cere and a older teen when order 66 came. She was around 25 at most in fallen order (5 years ago in this show). Reva was a child maybe let's say 10 or 11 during order 66 and is now only 20/21...trilla would mop Reva in a fight

i love how every single reaction in both parts to her walking up to vader amounted to something like “yea, she’s dead, don’t do it”

This fight is epic because, it's the only time you see Palpatines direct training in live action . He hated sabers,and thought a true sith knowledge of the force should be all they really need.

Her surviving the lightsaber wound doesn't bother me as much but I still don't know how she survived the sheer disrespect by Vader (ft. The Hype Man Grand Inquisitor). She got roasted worse than Anakin on the low ground. IN THE GUTTER

It's funny how almost everyone thought that Reva killed the Grand Inquisitor and that he wasn't the same one from Star Wars Rebels only to find out that he survived and he is the same Grand Inquisitor from Star Wars rebels.

If theres one thing I think Disney will learn from this is that they should have had him ‘Count Dooku’ her - everyone - like EVERYONE - wanted it 🤣😂 (obviously depending on Revas story going forward will see if this opinion ages well)

one thing this video made me notice is vader barely even moves from the spot he was in to stop the ship. by the end of the fight vs reva hes standing in the same exact spot lmao. I can totally see anakin telling himself to stay in that imaginary circle for more of a challenge.

Anakin/Vader has a habit of using peoples weapons against them. First Dooku, then Reva and later he will throw the Emperor down the casm of the death Star. Not to mention all the times he lost his lightsaber in the clone war.

The sad thing is think about what his potential would’ve have been if Obi-Wan did not cut him up he would be more OP

I think (I am not sure) that in canon he didn’t lose as much potential in the force as in legends. He mainly lost mobility and the ability to use force lightening. I could be wrong but I think I heard that a few times before

Everyone mentions the fact that Vader didn't use his own saber, which, yes, in and of itself shows how pitiful Reva is compared to him... Throughout the WHOLE FIGHT, Vaders' breathing never once hastened Reva was panting and heaving for air by the end, and Vader wasn't even winded Vader is the GOAT Always has been, always will be: my favorite sith lord
