Eric Bieniemy and the Chiefs made a HUGE mistake of parting ways. Both NEEDED each other - the Chiefs offense struggled mightily in basic ball handling and passing sync (high volume of passes dropped and intercepted) and the Commanders offense struggled all season with production and protection.

Everybody is bullshitting. It's a race for Harbaugh. That's why the Falcons cut their coach on the same day they could have won a play-off spot. Washington is gonna flash that cap space at him AND I think they have 10 draft picks in the top 100. He would also get to pick either Caleb Williams or Marvin Harrison Jr. (depending on what the Bears do). Washington is in a nice spot for any coach looking to put his personal stamp on a team.

They dont have to move up a spot for Caleb. You can either get him or Marvin Harrison. #2 spot is a sweet deal.

Having the overall number 2 pick is far more valuable to Parlay as a trade for additional picks in the 2024 & 2025 drafts. Selecting/wasting that pick on a rookie QB when this team has too many holes & needs all throughout the roster is like getting Golden rims on a junk car sitting on cinder blocks. Move back in the first round, select O linemen, D linemen, LB's, & quality DB's. Dismissing Sam Howell after a 18 game career is hardly a fair sample. He had a pass happy OC from KC that couldn't spell "RUN" if you spotted him the "R & U". Running the ball is a QB's best friend, especially a virtual rookie QB like Howell, running for his life behind that putrid O line that's better suited for run blocking. He still managed to pass for 3946 yds., having to play from behind all season because the defense couldn't get the opponents off the field. Putting an expensive #2 pick rookie QB on the field would be a victim of the same conditions. Build the team first, then add the shiny new QB.

Harris knew Rivera was a bad coach- only reason he kept him around for his 1st year in charge was to finish with a poor record.. (wanted a high Draft Pick)

As a Washington fan, no disrespect to Bill, but I don't think he's what we're looking for, especially if we have to do something stupid like trade a draft pick for him. NFL has become a young man's game, guys that take risks and try to innovate, rather than the old bulls that are set in their ways and don't react well to change.
