Not necessarily struggled per se but we have not been clinical in front of goal. Look at our XG at the Emirates vs West Ham last game. They defended with their lives on the line.

Arsenal never needed a new striker or number 6 or wingbacks . All they needed was a trip to Dubai. May be Arteta needs to plan a Dubai trip every 2 months.

West Ham were horrendous. Their fans have been asking for Moyes to be sacked because of their horrid football. For a brief time, Paqueta, Kudus, and Bowen were carrying the team attack. But Paqueta got injured, Kudus went to Afcon, and the team has quickly descended into ineptitude.

Arsenal don’t need this goal scoring forward, and it was never a plan to get one. Havertz was brought in to play as that centre forward long term. The. Combination of him with trossard is perfect. They are such different styles and can constantly rotate positions.

It's just lazy analysis. But Arsenal fans have been saying that, too. When asked how a team that scored six fewer goals than City last season doesn't score enough goals, there's no answer. It's just an obsession with having one guy scoring 30+ goals and be promoted as a ballon d'or candidate. Look at Spurs. As good as Kane is, him leaving Spurs hasn't affected them at all.

if you can't rely on set pieces how you can rely on a centre forward? i agree sometimes individual mistakes on set pieces lead to a goal, and those sorts of errors can happen anytime and anywhere on pitch, if a defender does his job perfectly no centre forward can score.

They’re right, with their forwards and in particular striker, Arsenal don’t have the goals to win the title.

Why is it more desirable to have a 25 goal a season player rather than a front 3/4 players each scoring 10-15 and setting up about 10. Surely being dependent on a single player to be on form is worse. Lazy analysis to say the team which is level on goal difference with the "free scoring" man city and only 3 goals behind desperately needs a proven cf. Arsenal need to keep doing what theyre doing and for the youngsters to mature becoming more confident finishers. A striker would be nice but its not life or death for this team that is unbeaten by its title rivals in the league this season. Important to note arsenal have a lot of players out too, not impacting them in the last few games at all. Brill at liverpool and awesome at times today

Not a statement win. It’s just a win to survive and stay alive in the title race. Essentially we can’t afford to lose anymore games to stay in the title race. City and Liverpool both are really focused and don’t look like they’re going to relinquish their position easily. Arsenal really must stay focused and whatever it takes to get the win especially against teams that we’re expected to win.

No one gets 25 goals a season without lots of mistakes by defenders Stevie. City scored quite a few more season before Haaland in PL. Problem was our scorers were not doing it. Oisihmen and Vlad had really poor first half this season too btw. Saka Trossard Odegaard Martinelli all capable of finishing and scoring as many open play goals as Toney. Havertz height doesn't even need to score if he takes defenders attention and creates knock downs etc. Saka needs to practice heading mind you 😂
