Agree. If we have martinelli and saka starting I don't think we lose this game. I saw how many easy chances sterling and nico Jackson wasted against citeh on the counter. Saka and martinelli are much more ruthless than dem 2.

No mentioning of Gabriel being injured. I really hope he can play this game. Would also be great if Partey can come in second half and close down the game.

As an Arsenal fan, I'd be fine with a draw at Man City. If we get a win I'd be ecstatic, but if we get a draw at the Etihad, I won't complain. What matters is what we do AFTER Man City. We need to stack wins on the comparatively easier squads headed toward Tottenham. Aston Villa and Brighton will be tough matches along the way, but outside of those we can stack some wins. Need every point we can get.

Even if Stones and Walker are injured, possibly Diaz and Akanji too City will still put out a good defence. Gvardiol,Ake,Gomez and Lewis. If any of the 'injured' players are fit then there will be little drop off. If KDB is fully fit and firing City will win 3-1.

Arsenal will definitely go toe to toe with city. We have the defence to deal with them. Gonna be some game.

The usual worry is when Arsenal self implode. Someone gets upset, will affect the team. If they can stay cool, then they will win it.

Break momentum reflects to both clubs ... most clubs pulls a sicky on their top players and it's understandable if it's a useless meaningless friendly match at a very crucial time for clubs to fight for different reasons [ relegation , title , and top 4 ]

The biggest decision Arteta has to make on Sunday is whether to start Giorginho or Partey in the holding position. I would personally prefer that Arteta start Partey if he isnfully fitbdespite his lack of games. Giorginho is a great player, but he is simply not physical or strong enough to combat the pace and power of a team like City.

it will be a masterclass from the very well rested KDB and SUPER Jack

With the addition of rice and a bit more experienced than last season, it's going to be a good game, hopefully for arsenal 👍

Craig makes good points. Have to press city and don't let them time on the ball, especially Rodrigo who has excellent football vision and his passing is top notch. Not sure but did'nt Rice play both international games the full 90+? If so he might be quite tired now, hopefully fit. That international break came at a bad time for the best team in the league this season- Arsenal. Hopefully it re-energizes them to not let go that top place till the end of season.
