Robin fell into a coma shortly before his death after being hospitalized with pneumonia. Dwina reported a few days ago that the singer's brother, Barry, sang at his bedside to wake Robin up, and he woke up. Robin thought he would recover, but died not long after. Maybe you could react to the Bee Gees ring around the moon, its from Robins funeral and its a wonderful song!

Barry is a beautiful man inside and out. Seen this before. Yep, cried again.

It broke his heart to lose his brothers. Especially Robin and Mo. Bless his heart.

Barry said in another interview that the twins, Robin and Maurice were the closest to each other while he and Andy, his little brother were the closest to each other. We looked a like he would say, sounded a like and even had the same birthmarks. They also enjoyed doing the same things. RIP Andy, Robin and Maurice....

Almost 60 years ago my wife went to school with Andy Gibb Barry's youngest brother in Australia she lived a few doors up from Andy Barry Maurice and Robin had a beachside apartment this was in 1965, she had many encounters with them when they visited their parents and Andy and sister Leslie. They moved down to Sydney from Redcliffe in Brisbane around 1964.

Omg! I was crying in public! Snot and everything.

This story is heartbreaking. I feel really bad for their mother who had to bury her 3 youngest children before she passed. RIP Robin, Maurice, and Andy! We love and miss you!🫶

My heart breaks for Barry. I know how it feels to lose multiple brothers. Barry deserves the utmost respect. He has accomplished a lot in his life and he has been able to maintain humility. He hasn't let it all go to his head. RIP Maurice, Robin, and Andy. You'll be forever in our hearts and never forgotten. God Bless.

Barry's sister - who sang with them sometimes - stayed in Australia when the boys returned to the UK and - I think - is still alive. Barry did an amazing set - with his son playing guitar - at Glastonbury a few years back.

Yes, I think she’s the firstborn, has a whole posse of kids and has a dogbreeding/shelter business if I remember correctly. She sang with B and M for a while when R left, but she preferred regular life and returned to Australia when Robin rejoined. Talented family.

Omg, I was a teen in that era, and Bee Gees were the soundtrack of the movie Saturday Night Fever. This was so sad and heartfelt. Sweet reaction 💕

Thank you so much for playing this . I saw it at the time here in OZ, it made me weep now as it did then. I am pretty old😢 now and I remember them coming to my high school fete, they were just teenagers. Beside Barry being a great human he was a real hunk when he was younger.

As a younger brother of multiple sibling who are older than I, it has started getting real for me also as I just lost my middle brother. I have to sisters who are over 80 that aren't in the best of health that I constantly worry about. My biggest fear in life has always been the fear of loosing even one of them. It is rough but I know it is also a part of it all.

Their Mom Barbara was still living when Robin died. There is video footage of Robin's funeral. Their Mom was overwhelmed with grief when Robin died. So much so that she was alleged to have stated that she believed the family was somehow "cursed". She had lived long enough to see three of her four sons proceed her to the grave. There is a tribute video on KZread to Robin and The Bee Gees, featuring one of their songs, "Rings Around the Moon", featuring Robin's voice on lead vocals.

The best Bee gees song has to be the 1987 rock song that hit number 1 called You Win Again Should check that out. Be an incredible reaction

I don't know...I think "Alone" is better and sums up each man's time when they die and Barry's current situation well.

Examples of songs written by Bee Gees: Islands in the Stream (Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers), Heartbreak (Dionne Warwick) and Grease (Frankie Valli) . Very talented writers and I love their music ❤

You should listen to Robin Gibb's son Spencer Gibb sing Massachusetts, he sounds awesome, just like his father.. Unfortunately there is only a audio version of it on youtube.

Tough to watch. I actually met the twins when they all lived in Australia....I was at a swimming carnival with my school and two of us were asked to go up to the street to see if our bus was there...well we saw the twins and waved and said 'Hi' and they came over and started to chat to us...we completely forgot about the bus lol. next thing the nun was walking up with the rest of the class and saw us. We were also guilty of telling them a lie as we explained they were two boys from England and were asking directions hahaaha. Still love to watch their video's and listen to their music. Thanks for the memories

Justlin I hadn’t watched the vid when I wrote my first comment to you. It’s just finished. I assumed, incorrectly, it was a song. Being an Aussie I’d heard bits and pieces but that was the most sad, heartbreaking but also heartwarming story I’ve listened to in quite a while. Now I totally understand why you wrote in your comment about meeting the boys and the bus 💞

OMG I just started this and I know I'm going to cry.. I'm the youngest and I buried my 1 sister 9 yrs ago.. I miss her every day..I can't imagine being the oldest and burying 3 younger brothers.

Ya know, you'll find some good music with the offspring of the Bee Gees as well. My personal favorite is Spencer Gibb, Robin's son. He did a fantastic album back in 2018 called Let's Start Over. You should definitely check out some songs from that.

Bee Gee's were a bit b4 my time.. way b4 y'alls time.. but my Uncle/Godfather loved Robin singing Massachusettes .. spelling sucks.. sorry.. My uncle now at 76 yrs old can sing this song so beautifully.

I had twins didn’t know till the first one was born what a shock …I had 5 daughters but March 4 2024 and her twin is having a hard time she was 45 when she passed …..

There is another sibling Lesley not sure but I think she was the older sister, never went into the business as far as I remember. Barry is now Sir Barry knighted I think by our late Majesty Queen Elizabeth for his work in the entertainment industry and charitable work. The brothers had solo careers and Mo was also married to Lulu who is also a singer in her own right, they divorced but stayed friends. I can't remember if it was An Audience With on ITV in the UK but Lulu said she was fortunate to work with her ex husband shortly before he passed away

Always been a fan of your reactions, but can you drop showing the big blurry version of the video you are watching? It's really distracting, and makes my eyes ache! I couldn't get through the first minute or two of this one. I have seen this interview before, love the Bee Gees, so was looking forward to checking out your reaction!

I dont think of myself a wuss but i had a tear or 2 watching this. They were always one of my favorates, even before Saturday Night Fever. One video i always loved was "You Should be Dancing" because its a great song, but all 4 Gibb brothers sang that, i think that was the only song Andy did with his brothers. Barry wrote much of Andys solo songs with all 3 of them singing backup, "Shadow Dancing" is a good song with all 4 brothers colaberating. Its real sad and a sign im getting old as well.
