The dancers represent humanity. He’s disconnecting them from the sleepy matrix and waking them up to reality and thus finds the path and defeats the enemy-the video game reference (virtual world as an escape from the hell of reality).

Little help: The lobster is a symbol of regeneration, as in the beginning the white water lily is a symbol of rebirth.. Such a deep message. This song is a critique of the modern society and contemporary world. He makes connection with a video games where young people (and everyone else) are, artistically speaking, controlled by someone else and are just observers of all the horror happening around the Globe. He uses himself as a metaphor - (he only wants to sleep), as it is the easiest thing to do - to oversleep all the tragedies and to wake up in a better world. If you carefully look the performance - you will see that they are dancing as zombies as they are under anesthesia not reacting on this "world on fire" as he notices. However, the message of the song is quite opposite - we should all wake up, we should react, we should have more conscience and sapience that he calls on, especially to decision makers. At the end of the song he "releases" those "controlled" masses in order to become more active, more energetic and they together react - walk, make changes together. The "hello" part was written inspired by the Sims game, where the characters wave the player when they want something, instead of taking action, so he uses a parallel with people today

The fact that he's conveying such a powerful message so successfuly using minimalistic lyrics shows that this type of singing works.

I actually enjoy this kind of singing, low and gloomy, I REALLY LOVE HIS VOICE, that's why i'm listening to all of his other songs too and i enjoy all of them. His music is the kind of music that i really enjoy the most, totally my style. This song is not just about sleeping and escaping the nightmares of the world, it's also a critique to the lethargic and passive youth who have good principles but don't act upon them, this song wants to do exactly the opposite of what it says, it wants you to wake up, for the youth to wake up.

That’s not really a message. Maybe part of it but if you read lyrics it’s actually about how people become apathetic to all the bad things happening around them. They are closing eyes (sleeping) in front of the war, hunger and darkness (evil) and they just wants to sleep while world is on fire.

The Hello in the performance was inspired by how Sims wave their hands and say "Hello" in simlish when you have to take care of their needs. Simulated people unable to do basic tasks without someone controlling them.

i was thinking and i'm not 100% sure since no one confirmed it so far but i think that the four dancers represent the four horsemen of the apocalypse: famine, death, war and pestilence

His song talks about the desire to escape from the madness of this world through a dream. At the same time, he feels that something is controlling him, like in a video game, and he doesn't want to stay in that state. That robot in the background represents that. So at the end he shuts down the dancers and this robot dies, it says 'ENEMY DEFEATED' at the end. The message is to wake up, it is a collective awakening. It's a pity that this boy will be abused by people from Serbia who are not even close to him in terms of talent, education, intelligence, or character...and I feel sorry for those people.

Actually, the message is pretty strong: it's not about covid (again, neither Konstrakta's song isn't about covid, it's much more universal) people are sleepy, in their shells (or leaves), they're like zombies (choreography), and the world is burning in the flames of war, hunger, lack of common sense... He's on the Konstrakta's track, but she's much more suggestive and stronger as a performer.

I know what you mean about more use of the voice, but I think the low use of the voice is on purpose.. like sleepy with low energy

The staging is a videogame boss battle. The dancers are adds (gamer term for boss allies/enemies) and Luke are defeating them by pulling the wires, which also damages the boss. Its kinda brilliant and we've never had something like that in Eurovision!

Uroše, ako već prevodite, poslužite se rečnikom ako već ne znate (dobronameran savet). Promašili ste neke ključne reči. Savest nije “advice” (to je savet) već “conscience”. Sa “savetom” se pomalo gubi smisao. Takođe, nije “War, it’s hungry” (to bi značilo, Rat, gladan je) već War, it’s hunger (jedno je imenica, drugo glagol i opet se onda menja smisao). I na kraju, nije ni “on the shoulder of the devil” (što bi bilo na đavoljem ramenu) već “devils on my shoulder”, ali to i nije toliko važno. Pozdrav
