'Scream For Me' will always be one of my favorites. Sensational! Obviously for the guitars. But just as much for the rolling bass and drums underneath them. That 'cow bell' sound is actually called an 'ice bell' cymbal. You'll see it mounted upside down on top of the ride cymbal to Hruna's right. It cuts through the wall of sound with ease. as you noticed. Another great reaction my dear. Yes, I'm old enough to use that term.

Again, those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just five years. These women are five of a kind.

Two great songs. I love when Haruna uses that ice bell. It always adds a nice touch. And as great as that Scream for Me performance was, there is an even better live version imo.

Scream for Me is a song Miyako brought to Lovebites for their debut EP, it's a remake of a song called Secret Square from her first band, a Drop of Joker. For me the song is not on their top half of their catalogue but that's a tastes matter. Signs of Deliverance is also one of the most boring songs on their last album, just straightforward good power metal, that's enough but they are so good that they have more interesting things in there. The tapping section is awesome though.

A Wrecking Ball of a track!!!

Miyako's guitar in "Scream For Me" is a Dean Switchblade ML. During "Break the Wall" in the same show she has a little problem with it because her bends don't sound very good. My guess is that the Floyd Rose is fighting her. When LB plays that song during FoaK, it sounds so much better when Momma Miyako does those bends on the Les Paul. Speaking of "Scream For Me," sometimes I wonder if Asami is getting a little screechy on purpose, if she loses control of her voice, if the note was a bit too much for her at the time, or what's going on. She sounds better on "Battle in the East" and much better during the live in-studio version. Also, I don't think Midori fully pulls off the crossed-hands at 8:35 during the guitar battle. It doesn't sound bad or anything, but I don't think she fully achieves what she's going for. She doesn't even try it during the live in-studio version and it sounds much better. "Signs of Deliverance" is such a wonderful performance. The backing track is subtle and tasteful, everyone sounds great, Miho doing the vertical bass is cool to see, the dual solo is masterful, and the little interaction between Asami and Miyako is cute. When the crowd is allowed to make noise, LOVEBITES always has hot crowds. Thanks for reacting to these two songs.

Why are the 2 gtrs so in sync ? Miyako mentioned in an interview in her studio that Midori comes over and they spend hours practicing their twin gtr lines so that neither of them rushes their parts , or it will sound messy. Practice practice practice.
