Hello from Croatia! Most importantly, this is an anti-war, anti-dictatorship song. A mockery, but when you understand it, very serious song about very serious things. Every word, every move, dance, coreography is here with meaning. It`s about current mess and circus in the world, about crazy politicians etc etc. I can write whole bible here, but some important parts are: "Mama kupila traktora" (Mom bought a tractor) is reffering to Putin`s gift to Lukashenko. "Onaj mali psihopat" (That little ville psychophat) is Putin. "Mama idem u rat!" (Mom I`m going to war!). Guy in the black dress with words "NJINLE" written on his forehead...well, in reverse on Croatian languange is Lenjin, English Lenin. And you certainly understand what nuclear rockets means. They are threathing whole world with nuclear war. ŠČ is a letter in Russian alphabet, so song name Mama ŠČ! is in disguise Mother Russia. Greetings from Croatia and ŠČ! 🙂

Hello from Croatia. Basically they're trying to score points on Russia-Ukraine war 'cause they have no talent. That's actually formula for winning Eurovision: weird-transgender outfits or any kind of transgender look+protest against war or anything that's major in politics and media+just be able to talk and do some notes and make a song with no structure= Eurovision finale. Easy.

@@nela1271 maybe for you as a listener. Let3 did not write a song for pure sake of winning the Eurovision. Heck, they did not write song for Eurovision at all. The song in itself is deeply political, theatrical statement. It’s Croatian song, so Croatia chooses if they will let political song (I mean it doesn’t get more political then this) on Eurovision. Croats have spoken up and we decided we do! Everything is politics anyway! If it’s okay to politicize minor things, why not instead focus on real thing that matters? Like peoples lives?! Keep in mind that we are Slavs, and only 30 years ago we were in position of our Ukranian brothers and sisters. However this war will end, it will end someday and Ukraine will have to deal with post war. And that will last decades. You might see it as: “policized”, others might see it as “directint towards what matter”. Why Ukraine, and not some other country: “we are connected, being same people, can even understand some parts of the language”, additionally this affects us in a way that Serbia is direct supporter of Russia, while republic of Serbia in Bosnia wanted “Great Serbia” ideology back on, though Serbia is stating they have nothing to do with that, we all know how close Bosnian Republic of Serbia is to the Serbia. So basically there is lot of beef, but bear in mind if that beef goes wrong there will be yet another war.

I will only comment this: Years ago the band held a concert in Croatia's capital Zagreb. They performed in the nude so the police fined them for public indecency. Let 3 appealed the fine explaining that technically they weren't nude cause they were all wearing corks up their asses. 😁

"ŠČ" is pronounced like one of the letters of Russian alphabet. "Mama kupila traktora" == "Mother bought a tractor" It's referring to Lukashenko when he bought a tractor for Putin on his birthday. Also, "Белару́с" (Belarus) is model of a tractor. "Onaj mali psihopat" == "That little psychopath" Reffering to Putin "Mama idem u rat" == "Mother I'm going to war" Generally he's talking about "MOTHER Russia". "Krokodilski psihopat" - "Crocodile psychopath", it's referring to Boris Johnson when he said: negotiating with Putin is like negotiating with a crocodile when it's got your leg in its jaws Children on their T-shirts are referring to genocide and kidnapped Ukrainian children from the occupied territories. Rockets are symbolizing the constant threats of the Medvedev that Russia will fire nukes. And so on. There's a lot going on at their stage, I probably missed something. As I said before, you don't really need to understand any of it if you don't want to be bothered. You can also just enjoy the spectacular LET 3 show 😄

Performance is on purpose funny and satyrical but also grotesque! This is much more serious song than it seems at the first glance! It's anti-war and anti-dictatorship protest rock opera like song and brutal mockery of "little vile p*********" which is interpreted by many as Putin himself but also all mad dictators like him in general. It is performed by the Let 3 - famous experimental and often extremely provocative Croatian art punk rock band that is active over 30 years and which also had collaborations in theater peroformances including those with very serious directors. Posible lyrics description by many: "Mama ŠČ" = Mama Russia (among Russians "mother" symbolises their country), ŠČ is letter from the Russian alphabet. "Mother bought a tractor" = Belarus dictator Lukašenko gave to Putin tractor for his 70th birthday. "Mother loved a moron" = Mother Russia loved Putin. As I've written "little vile p*********" is also interpreted as Putin and all mad agressors like him! Let 3 outfits and styling: military like clothes as the representation of all mad war thirsty dictators in combo with drag queen like clothes and makeup (provocation to homophobic Russian President and likewise dictatorial conservatives). On a bald man's forehead it's written "NJINLE" which is a Croatian word play for LENJIN (NJIN + LE = LENJIN), another reference to Russia. Nuclear rockets in their performances are rather self-explanatory: "little vile p********" from the Kremlin is constantly threatening with usage of nukes! It has to be said that Let 3 members had several interviews in which they gave some vague hints to whom this song might be dedicated to which can be summarized to dictators and all powerful people that think that have right to do whatever they please regardless of others including people as Putin! Of course I've paraphrased their words but that's the general meaning. Warm greetings from Croatia

You asked what is written on the guys forehead. It says Njinle which is a word play in Croatian for Lenin. The guy who sings is representing Stalin....some like to say it is Hitler as well. It is an anti war song where basically dictators get mocked. This can apply to past , present and future ones....but when it comes to the present one we all know who is meant in this song. This band exists since 1987 and they always were crazy and controversial...this is even tame due to the Eurovision rules. They tend to sing about social stuff and problems around the globe but in a way of satire. We Croats are gonna mix the ESC a bit up this year ;) They always wanted something different from us now they got it.

.From CroaŠČia..........Hidden in a plain sight. This is a superb ‘rock-opera’ anti-war parody with powerful visuals. Tractor is a reference to Belarus president Lukashenko's birthday present to Putin. In the song Putin is described as a "vile little psychopath", the vocalist represents Stalin, and the guy with nuclear rockets has NINLE on his forehead (word play: Nin-Le=Lenin) and is dressed in monk's outfit, like Rasputin. Insertion of a dominant, sinister, dark Lenin, who came way before Putin, points to a much deeper problem. And those TWO nuclear warheads; after all we all know who dropped the A-bombs! At the end of the video, on the nuclear missile, it is written "pajČu", an anagram; "Čupaj"- pull out. Trajna nina nena’ is Croatian song for little kids; ‘Trajna nina armagedon nona’(grandma) speaks for itself. Mama ŠČ is a metaphor for Mother Russia (ŠČ is a letter of the Russian alphabet, also old Croatian Glagolitic). The Cyrillic letter Shch Щ was derived from the Glagolitic (Croatian script) letter Sht Ⱋ. Coincidently, the sum of letters Š and Č gives Z (25+4=29) in Croatian alphabet, and Z is a military symbol used by Russian Federation to mark their military vehicles in Ukraine. The chaotic part of the song represents repeating the same mistakes from history, and not learning anything. It plays Croatian alphabet in reverse: Ž(Ж/Ⰶ), Z(З/Ⰷ), V(В/Ⰲ), U(У/Ⱆ), T(Т/Ⱅ), Š(Ш/Ⱎ), S(С/Ⱄ), R(Р/Ⱃ), P(П/Ⱂ), O(О/Ⱁ), Nj(Њ/Ⱀⰺ), N(Н/Ⱀ), M(М/Ⰿ), Lj(Љ/Ⰾⰺ), L(Л/Ⰾ), K(К/Ⰽ), J(Й/Ⰺ), I(И/Ⰻ), H(Х/Ⱈ), G(Г/Ⰳ), F(Ф/Ⱇ), E(Е/Ⰵ), Đ(Ђ/Ⰼ), Dž(Џ/Ⰴⰶ), D(Д/Ⰴ), Ć(Ћ/Ⱋ), Č(Ч/Ⱍ), C(Ц/Ⱌ), B(Б/Ⰱ), A(А/Ⰰ). Visually, there are a lot of subliminals with multilevel meaning. Crocodile is a terrible drug popular in Russia, that makes people act like zombies. Guys are dressed in military uniforms but in pink and bright colors and are wearing dresses; making fun of all warmongers and military establishments, proponents of chaos. Side image shows roses sticking out of their asses. Preposterous, or superb description of the present time? Main exclamation is ‘mama idem u rat’- mommy I am going to war, a cry against the forced mobilization, and sending young people to kill each other. Are we ever going to learn?!
