I have never clicked on a video so damn fast in my life. F(X) was the first Kpop group I ever got in to knowing it was Kpop. They were so so good and totally would've hit legendary status if they weren't done so dirty by SM Entertainment. I'm still bitter about that to this day, the fact that this group went like the last 4 years of their contract without a single comeback, never got a world tour, or a light stick. SM literally put this group on the back burner after like 2015 and just let them become forgotten. Yes! Amber is an icon. In an industry where girls were expected to look and dress a certain way, she stood out and defied the gender norms. Funny story about Amber's recruitment in to SM. She apparently was just chilling at a Korean festival in California and was scouted by Lee Sooman (Sm founder) himself. He noticed her androgynous style and appearance and took interest because at the time, there was a Chinese singer who was famous for her androgynous look and he wanted to bring that in to K-pop.

I think my absolute favorite f(x) fun fact is that Luna wasn’t scouted/cast for her singing. She got into SM for her dancing and then trained to this level. And she’s definitely Top 3 SM female vocal.

I'm so glad you noticed Luna, she's the least popular member but is so talented and such a sweetheart! Her solo songs are bops too, for me the standouts are Free Somebody and Do You Love Me

I'm beyond happy that Luna is the one you noticed. She came in as a dancer, even called little Boa, but her vocals are where she really shines, incredible power and range, from this tiny girl. I always thought (and still think) she's gorgeous, but korean beauty standards being what they are, she got a lot of hate for being "chubby", which she never was, she was muscular, and healthy. She has a bunch of extremely underrated solo, and duo (with Amber) work as well. She did stuff on Immortal Songs, and King of masked singer. I definitely miss f(x), as others have mentioned already, SM really screwed them as a group, and I have no clue why, they were extremely popular.

I always forget how young Krystal and Sulli were when they debuted. Both were 15 (16 Korean) when they debuted. They were so young that even a couple of years post-debut, when Krystal had become the it girl of K-pop, she was still too young to do a club scene for a 2pm song.

Krystal Jung was only 14 yo when f(x) debut in Sep 2009. Her birthday is Oct 24, 1994. She is younger than Irene, Wendy, and Seulgi from Red Velvet even though Red Velvet did not debut until five years later in Aug 2014.

A little recognisable point in La chA TA is that they gave every member a set that fit their name or personality; Luna is sitting on a big moon, Krystal has crystals, Amber has fire(ember), Victoria with the model set, and Sulli with the cute teddy bears!

"Hot Summer" was also a song by the german girl group Monrose! SM bought the song :) Fun fact, f(x) was the first group where I learned all the names of the members (I knew of KPop before, but BoA, f(x) and SNSD really pulled me in)

The epitome of concept queens! Always experimenting with style and sound and executing it flawlessly as evidenced by the holy trinity of albums. My girl Luna especially is so underrated while she serves in every aspect. The way they silently faded away as a group will have me bitter forever. Sulli was such a light and we will celebrate her always.

I hope you can either react or watch on your own time their LaChaTa performance in the rain (it got removed from youtube, you'll probably have to watch on bilibili, if you just Google "lachata rain" it should be the first result). They were still rookies at the KBS concert and it was POURING rain, the stage was shaking.... and they killed it. Smiling the whole time, having a blast. It makes me tear up a bit nowadays but it's just so nice to watch them be so happy, before all they went through.

OMG.. I miss fx sooooo much!!!!!!! They were sooo different from the other groups, also, I think they had some of the hardest chores at that time, just so much little details.

So f(x) was the group that made me fall for K-pop but since Sulli I haven't been able to watch a single MV or listen to any song (which totally sucks because their last couple albums were amazing). K-pop is normally my release from life so I just couldn't watch them again but this was a good way for me to start watching them again. So thank you for reacting to them!

Same here. Fx was my favorite Kpop group back then. Ever since Sulli left & then really left I stopped watching them, even though Krystal was my bias wrecker. Sulli was my bias.

f(x)! First Kpop I ever heard - Electric Shock and was intrigued. Amber is so cool - even more so now. Check out her stuff!

f(x) were and they probably still are one of my favorite girl groups... I just love them so much and the way they were pretty different from the rest of the girl groups - especially at the time they appeared... I suppose SM decided to experiment with them, but in the end really did them dirty - they were never promoted enough and were basically left behind.. Sulli was my bias, so everything that happened to her additionally hurt me... Amber and Luna are also my favorite members - so I think Luna is an excellent choice for a bias hahaha... I'm happy you like them!

You know whats hilarious that questionable hair on krystal in NU ABO is actually becoming very popular in east asia with all the alt/indie fashion types

Before BlakPink, there was FX for me. The only group I loved & got me into Kpop. Sulli was my bias also.

MY GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!! MY FAVOURITE GIRL GROUP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them so much!!!!!!!! When i got into kpop was like 3 month after they realised nu abo. It was insta love with them. I love Krystal hair XD I wanted that haircut!!!!! When i read that Krystal older sister is in SNSD i thought i was Yoona XD XD XD I was shocked some weeks later when I found out that her older sister is actually Jessica. And I'm not the only one who thought that XD Danger was my first comeback with the girls!!!!!!!!!! Since then if someone says Pinocchio my brain automatically plays Danger XD Hot summer is my summer song even 9 years later XD Luna has amazing vocals, she was in lots of musicals but she is still underappreciated. Krystal is now an actress ( i didn't watched one because the plot was....meh) Victoria is now also an actress, but in China. There are a few dramas that I didn't wanted to watch, chinese dramas are long and some plots are bad and stupid so i skip them no matter who is in them. Also in chinese dramas tragedy can hit out of nowhere so I always wait until all ep are out and watch the last ep first Amber is still doing music but she also streams on twitch XD Sulli our giant baby......she was the sweetest, but after she grow up and started dating an older man, netizens started to criticize every thing she was doing and every photo she would post. Don't believe in any god but I really hope she now is at peace and together with her best friend Hara and also accompanying Jonghyun.

I'm not a fan but Luna is soooo greatt. I love her voice so much, she has singing on Immortal Song and she prove she's one of the best vocalist in the industry fr.
