It anoyes(?) me that a reactor such as you gets blocked. You do all the marketing of this new artist. They don't do a s...! I respect that Angelina /family/Republic takes this slowly and only use KZread to promote her. But then they should not make obstacles for this way of building a future market. Just a thaught.. 🤔

If you pause her video to comment a few times then it shouldn't violate copywrite laws.

She was raise with old American jazz . Her Grandmother is the influencer of the genre . That is why as a Norwegian ,she mastered old jazz genre.

I don't mind it being short then I can play it over and over and make a mantra with it.

It's ok that you had to blur it. You got to see it, and we have all seen it many times. ...but if anyone reading this hasn't seen it, go watch it now! The only thing better than listening to Angelina is watching Angelina sing while listening to her. ...and while you're there, leave a like and comment to help support Angelina's channel (and do the same for this channel while you're here)

Not at all a problem with you blurring it, please keep doing her video reactions even if you have to blur it to get through copyright, we are all here for you, we can watch Angelina over and over again on the original video to see her. I figured you'd like this song a lot! And yes, its her original, she wrote it!

Well, if I counted correctly, this is your 11th reaction to Angelina Jordan in just about one week. You are now very deep into the Jordan Woods. I truly enjoy your reactions. I plan to check out your reactions to other artist and looking forward to another Angelina video. Don’t worry about blurring the video, not a big deal. Keep with the Angelina journey, there are over 130 U-Tube videos. Each one amazed me. Think about getting back into playing. I stopped around the age you did, but got back into it when I got married to my wife 25 years ago, mainly because she wanted to get back into it. I do miss playing since we were forced to stop due to Covid. I miss playing for a audience in a club or event and can’t wait to getting back to it. I have been listening to Angelina for about a little over 6 years. I still can’t get enough of here music.

Blurry video but crystal clear Angelina’s voice.

This is, no question, the best of the three versions she's put out for this song. She smoothed out all the rough spots and got rid of the abrupt ending that seemed so out of place in the other versions. Much smoother. Sorry you got hacked - you don't deserve it. You're right about the 'Fever' feeling to this song. We'll have to see if this one turns into that kind of a classic. And yes, this is an original.

@@alanwitty1665 You're correct. And Peggy Lee did a fantastic cover. I believe Walt Disney furthered 'Fever' when he spotlighted Ms Lee singing the song in a voiceover for his animated hit Lady And The Tramp.

In my opinion, it is not Angelina's voice that has improved, for it did not change a bit, despite the end of her puberty, but her vocals abilities, which she continues to bring to perfection, namely her subtle vocal fry, her dazzling vibrato and her unique melismas, that she adapts regularly according to the color of the song. Unless by voice, you meant vocal prowesses. I continue to agree with you about how awesome and unique she is as a vocal artist. For her power and her artistic use of transformative phonetics, please react to her It's A Man's World in an open concert that she gave with the military band of Norway. You will notice the reaction of the director of the band to her amazing run near the end of the song and the standing ovation of the band and of the audience, even though she was not done yet! Thank you so much, Dave!

This is a original. She also have a couple of other Really good originals like million miles away (wich she wrote to her grandfather who passed away.) And she has a song called shield wich is amazing.. She wanted to write a james bond type of song and she killed it! Absolutely worth checking out..

Excellent version and excellent reaction. She changed the ending from 1 hope to 3 hopes. Also, this version is recorded live so she is using back up singers instead of also doing the backup vocals herself. Very enjoyable.

Great reaction. 7th Heaven was written by Angelina in collaboration with two other song writers that she has worked with before to tweak her songs.

Super Bowl or the next Bond movie. She could do those theme/Shirley Bassey-type songs very well.

With Angelina" less is more", no fire works, extreme dancing, not a real need for an orchestra, she for the most part lets her voice take command of the situation. Very special young lady that just wants to sing for the world. Super reaction Dave, thumbs up sir.

The bass continues to remind me of the bass part in Ray Charles' "Hit The Road Jack". I'm loving it! This is AJ's own composition. Glad you were able to get this up without it being blocked. Please keep on bringing us AJ!!

Thanks Dave, Angelina is the absolute "Wow Wow Wow" girl like no other has been before. The singing stage is her play ground and has been since she was a small child. Angelina is teaching the world if you have a child hood dream do not ever give it up and let the natural world pull you away from it. P. S. if you listen to her lyrical style in her first original "What is Life", when she was just 11 years old you notice the similarities in the two , which leaves no doubt this is her words and not a co writers thoughts and input.

What a shame. I love watching the video and watching your reaction. But it is still very cool to hear her and be able to watch you. Thank you. She's quite the little song writer, too, isn't she? This is her own song. The 1st version (lyrics only) may even be a bit more exciting, as there are subtle differences. More constant fry in her voice The ending is very abrupt on the 1st lyric only version. In this second version less fry, a new ending; also, she has a backup singer. I'm not a fan of forced runs either. Angelina does effortless runs. She's been signed by Republic Records, but i think she's been held up with the whole covid pandemic crisis. I would so love to see her live, in the type of venue that allows her to just cut up. I do see the rather "vintage" quality of her video. As far as doing songs outside of her age, she has been known to change words to suit a young girl. Such as Amy Winehouse's song, Rehab. My mother told me this reminded her of a form of jazz back in the 30's and 40's that was called 'Swing'. If you view Britain's Got Talent from 2018 where the singer Aleksander Mileusnic does a personal rendition of Seven Nation Army, it has a very similar beat and vibe as this. Simon referred to it as a 'Swing' version of the famous original.

Yet again another great reaction from you,hope you get to do more as I would like to see your reaction to yellow brick road by her!you take care and stay safe. O yes it is original just like her singing.

Love your reactions Dave! Your reactions reflect those of us who have come to love this girl. I see you haven't done her Adelle cover of "A Million Years Ago ". I highly recommend it. She sings it with such emotion and with all do respect to Adelle, Angelina's cover is better than the original (I know, big surprise right?).

Angie wrote this song with co-writers Stargate, the 4 time Grammy winning producers/songwriters she's been working with. They also collaborated on her "MIllion Miles" originals released last Nov. Gotta disagree a bit Dave with the use of the phrase, "her voice is improving." I don't think you have seen enough of Angelina's covers and originals from age 8 onward. Some fans will agree with you, and some will say I like her voice in this song or that song better, as Angie is known for a whole host of vocal styles and voices. The current style really began with "Bohemian Rhapsody" on AGT which was recorded in Oct. 2019, and aired in Jan. 2020. I personally love it, but I still love her voice on "Summertime" or "What A Difference A Day Makes" at age 8 which was quite different. So I shy away from the use of the word "improvement." In any case, love your reactions, and always look forward to them for Angelina.

I prefer to call her genre JazzPop, though JazzAlina is interesting, though it may seem too proprietary for other singers following her into the space.

Written and arranged by AJ, she is a committed artist, great painters, copied masters to develop their talent, tiger woods copy’s copied great golfers, still has a coach, does the coach play better, no but you can learn and polish your individual techniques, What is life, Shield, A million miles, 7th heaven are her originals, we’ll get more she’s a busy young lady, 15 still has her maths and history homework to do. This song is officially "penned by Angelina" as of her recent interviews. I guess it's a matter of voice development to be more comfortable with belting. A german vocalist recently even claimed, too much belting would be harmful for young voices. But I very much doubt its a lack of confidence. Watch her concert performance of "Its a man's world". The conductor is shaking his head in disbelief. So she probably improvised that power belting there on a whim. The bass here is very reminiscent of "Fever", yes. But the piano reminds me of "Back to Black". Again, the live performance is quite different than the studio recording.

I wasn't familiar with fever so I listened to a couple version. I don't think its far outside of her style and I wouldn't be surprised to see her cover it. You haven't seen any yet, but you'll see that she has altered the lyrics of songs with adult lyrics. Amy Winehouse comes to mind but there's another I can't think of it right now. Hopefully she'll stop doing that in a year or so. It was cute when she was little but she's quite grown now. I still giggle when I hear her sing "They try to make me go to school, I say no, no, no" in her cover of Winehouse's rehab. Her Back to Black cover is better (around 11yo I think) but I'd like to here her sing it with the proper lyrics.

She turned 15 on 10th of January 2021 so it hard for her to be 18 lol.

We really need some extended remixes of this.

Lets get out there & promote Angie's song, ask for it on your local radio stations, tell friends, relatives & neighbors etc etc, or it will end up like her last great single. etc. Angie wrote the words and Stargate produced it. Angie actually proves her genius on the writing & why it's short. At the end most are craving more so you go back to listen to it again & again etc etc. Plus she ends that last word on Hope & on a high note for than you come down naturally or as most they just keep listing to the positive message. Pure story telling & word using genius & at 13-15 when she wrote this. Remember her musicality & music intelligence have always been off the charts. No trouble enjoying this. I`ve seen the video so many times already, so I am happy to see you react to it. The song is growing bigger on me by every time. And this "live" version I like even more. (Even though the audio version, we got Angelina`s voice as the backing vocal as well.) I have an anxious "fever" for the day Angelina takes on that song. It will be another great "Angelina day" I think. I`m quite sure she knows the song, even great possibility she took some inspiration from it as she made this "7th Heaven". Great reaction!

As long as YOU're not blurred, it's fine :-) I'm surprised that UMG published such a performance without any postcorrections whatsoever, it looks like a live version (maybe 2 takes at max) with nothing but the raw vocals of Angelina, live instruments and backup singers. I think you need balls of steel to pull that off. In my opinion the audio could be improved, but instead they left it just as is. Maybe they wanted to leave things as natural as possible, who knows, in any case a bold move.

Blur it for us, fine! We've seen it - or can see it - clear as a day in other links. YOU blur it fine... we are here for YOUR reaction. (Angelina co-wrote this with 3 other songwriters. It's interesting to me because I assumed there was a guitarist AND pianist, and here we see that one player has arranged instrumentation so both can played by one. It's also a demonstration that she can use backing singers to carry the chorus' opening or closing lines and sing behind or over those. Whatever she wants - !

As for FEVER... I would almost expect her to mash those two up in a live-setting, especially one of those smaller, intimate, jazzier clubs where couples like Mr. & Mrs. Reactor might dress up for some cheek-to-cheeks.

I rather just blur it out all together than risk only a little, and then my reaction ends up blocked cause too much of the video showed haha. The way it works is, labels are more likely to block reactions too official videos, vs official audio reactions. If it’s just the audio, they will just claim it and allow me to upload it to KZread. So I removed / blurred the video. Then the label let me upload it.

Andy. I believe the slow promotion is planned and is probably at the discretion of Angelina and her family. She is still in school for at least another year or two. I know if restrictions are removed she has scheduled two concerts in Norway. I do not believe she wants or is ready to hit the interview and late night television circuit. Concerts across the world at 15 because we want is also probably not in her best interest. Republic might like to push her out on the road but it is becoming obvious that she has control.

I've also been wondering why Republic has, at most, only passively promoted AJ and her new music. Republic is a successful record label and they don't pass up money on the table. AJ has made two excellent new songs with Republic so far. My hunch is that they are waiting until AJ has a significant portfolio off original work, possibly when her album is complete. I also suspect that Republic may want to coordinate the promotional timing with a concert tour. Promoting one or two songs at a time may not be the most effective. Then again, I have no inside knowledge of how the music industry works. Just an attempt to explain the seemingly unexplainable.

@@billweekley4077 Thank you for this comment. I agree, and hope this to be the case. Taking it slowly is more likely to lead to a successful life as opposed to quick teenage fame. As fans, we crave for her next performance but she needs to have some life outside of music in order to have things to sing about. There are far too many sad stories in this industry, but she can be an exception if we don't set our expectations to high. How can anyone live up to the perfection we perceive her to be?

Angelina's one run was especially spectacular and fit perfectly with the song, as you noted. When performers include too many runs within a song or when their intent is only to demonstrate their vocal prowess, it's a real turn off. If a run is not integral to the song, leave it out!

Blurring is fine, most of us have seen this probably at least a dozen times by now. UMG owns Republic Records who she just signed with late last year. I would love to get your wife's analysis, off camera of course, since she has a music masters. Not that I don't fully enjoy yours, Dave!! Angelina performed "My Funny Valentine" at 10 years old. There are 2 versions I know of, but the best one, imo, is her sitting on a couch at home in a white turtleneck shirt with no mic in hand. It just hits my emotion button hard.
