Keep listening to them! They are my favorite band of all time!
My favorite song of all time; love to see someone hear it for the first time!
This is definitely a unique piece that i can appreciate. And dude i can see the frog face to lmao. And then solo comes in and smacks me upsideleft then the outer left me in static 🤣 bravo to this reaction my man!🤟👍
Organized chaos
Great reaction!!
WOW I never saw the generations in that image. Well I see it like they're the ancestors of Mecca, holding the moment that's slipping into amputechture
Also the lead was taught to John Frusciatnte of Red Hot Chili Peppers by the frontman
The quiet part right before the insane guitar shredding gets me every time cause I know what's coming. I always feel the tension before he goes off, love that part.
The artwork is by Jeff Jordan, it's titled "Big Mutant" the inspiration for the art was from a photo of Robert Goddard and several other assistance holding a rocket back in 1932. They originally were gonna have Storm Thorgerson (did alot of Pink Floyd's album covers and did the first two of TMV's album covers) But there were disagreements in art direction. So they chose Jeff Jordan's work instead.
Thanks for doing this one, this is one of their best song, i won’t suggest any particular song by them just pick any of them.

@@Neorigg TMV is my favorite band of all time and I do like Noctourniquet and Octahedron. But they don't have the random white noise/jazz fusion/kinetic energy/insanity of the first 4 lp's. They are essential.
Been listening since 08 and this band music is still leagues more bold and daring than any modern rock band.
The best part about this picture is that at first it looks like they're carrying or moving that thing, but if you look at their legs and body movement, they're just standing there, holding it.
This is the Sound, when Shamans make Music ;-)
Wish they were still able to make music together. Fav band by a light year.

Please... keep going.
2:15 actual burp in the left channel. They sure were having fun in the studio!
u know what's even crazier? the next song is as bad ass as any on this album :D
Nice hat.
The rest of the body will fuck with you. She has electrical cables and phantom limbs
They do it live. It's cool.
Just found this, great reaction! You should do some more TMV man! Cygnus... Vismund Cygnus is another good long one worth checking out from an earlier album, Frances The Mute. It's 13 minutes long and a really sick track, if you liked this one you'll love this too I guarantee!

Little trivia. John Frusciante ex RHCP was lead guitar for this whole album and the trumpet you hear is Flea.

Actually, they described it as the other way around. John tracked all the rhythm guitars and Omar played the leads. Sometimes there's a left+right mirror and I think that's Omar on the left and John on the right (Omar said all of the Bedlam album was done like this). Source: I'm a TMV nerd and Amputechture is my favorite album
Its funny that you mentioned mastodon. The singer featured in their song siberian divide the same year this was released. And then the mastodon guitarist featured in a dillinger escape plan song that year as well. They must have all been recording at the same studio.
What do you think of their song "Soothsayer"?

No clue man haven’t heard it. You can request via linktree
if you dont have any DMT ..just listen to Mars Volta or TOOL...and put on your Seat Belt....
Tetragrammaton actually has two meanings, the one that you said in this video actually isn’t the one they were going for, but rather the Hebrew word for god, which is why the song was some religious undertones, especially cause it’s based off a case where a women has an exorcism that ended up with her being crucified, gagged with a sock in her mouth
Try Merkaba by Tool, very similar in parts
Do the whole Frances the mute album
Thing is, yes the guy from muse has the ability, but not the feel
