I am a huge One Piece manga/anime fan, but i can't see the reason why stopping for the live action is a shame.

Now she knows 5% of what One Piece has to offer.

I agree with the commenters that are sad that you won’t continue the show past where the live action ended, but I LOVE how in awe you are about the amazing world that is One Piece. Idk how far the live action will go, but you definitely need to keep going even if it gets canceled because you’ve literally seen NOTHING yet.

From what I've heard the Live-Action is guaranteed up to the 6th season and it was hinted with a very high chance of the 12th season too. The 12th season would be around the current anime story arc of Wano, if assumtions of how the story can be condensed are correct.

It would be better to not stop to wait 2 to 3 years to continue the story. Also, the anime/manga is superior so it would be better to think of it as being able to look back and compare that way when season 2 finally does release. Especially when you consider the strikes that happened and the ongoing strike. Season 2 isn't coming for a min fam.

@@hinata365247 and they are sticking to the manga as a guide and Oda won't let them reveal the One Piece earlier than planned. It's going to take them till season 6 to get to the war. So that's like what, 10 years away for the show to get to the time skip? Yeah, I don't see Netflix adapting all of it after the first 6 seasons. I don't see them doing more than that, but that's fair considering people in the real world will be 10 years older before they start the second leg.

Tbh keep watching one piece it's a huge journey i don't think live action can cover it all and there are popular shows like jjk and demon slayer which can bring you audience 😊

you should do the opposite. the anime is a masterpiece. the live action is just a fun little side thing. if you want a truly great story, watch the entire anime. dont let the live action ruin the experience of watching the anime for the first time

The anime is FAR from being a masterpiece. Like, let's not straight up lie here okay? The manga? Sure. But the anime adaptation? Far from it. If something ruins the first time experience it's watching the whole anime adaptation instead of the actual source material from the author himself.

great reaction! this world is pretty incredible. I hope you end up going past where the live action left off. with the strikes and everything it will take forever for the next live action season to come out. also, some of the best episodes/arcs won't be for years and years in live action. the grand line is really where the show takes off. I've been loving your reactions and would selfishly love to see them keep going, especially since you seem to be enjoying it so much! :)

I suggest that you continue watching the anime at your own pace, you'll appreciate the live action even more. Its much better for you to experience watching the anime first than the live action because you'll be spoiled and it will ruin your experience with One Piece's story the way it should be told.

Once the "one piece" finally gets revealed it will shake the world to its foundations like no other anime has ever done before. Oda's manga will go on to become a legendary scholarly work of art that will live on for generations next to Tolkien’s lord of the rings. It’s a shame that so many anime fans still just don't know how brilliant and larger than life one piece really is and to think all of this exists within the mind of one man.

Waiting for the live action to catch up is a fools errand

To help with something, the Grand Line is split into two halves. First half is called Paradise... simply due to how 'peaceful' it is compared to the second half, which is known as the New World.

this is why one piece fans are so loyal and loving one piece so much, i admit it that other anime has better visual, but for the world, the story and the characters no anime can never reach one piece, not even close to one piece, except for naruto because eiichiro oda takes some references from naruto, because both of them naruto and one piece are the greatest of all time anime

This is the first video of yours I've ever watched and the text at the top left at the beginning of the video gave me whiplash lol cuz like, why would there be?

Honestly, naming all the places wouldn't be spoilers (99% of the times, I guess). However, I've been a One Piece fan for decades, read all chapters, watched all episodes, plus non-canon stuff like OVAs, movies, specials, etc. ... and even I had trouble identifying 15%/20% of them. 😅

Btw aside from scenes directly from the show it also has some scenes from the One Piece movies. Currently One Piece has 15 movies. Most one piece movies don’t directly affect the show so they are considered non-canon to the story. But some characters named in the show appear in the movies and some movie characters might potentially appear in the show later on. I don’t recommend you to see any movies yet. Only after watching episode 517 of the series you can watch I think the first 8 of the 15 movies without spoilers. From movie 9 - 13 you would have to probably watch 300 or so episodes to not get spoiled. Then catch up to OP before watching movie 14 and 15

It took me a full year of watching the series to completely catch up. Now I am caught up with the manga as well and that was way before the live action was even announced. Best thing I could have done. I can’t wait to uncover what comes next.

Ignore everyone who says watch ahead. The views for reacters who have not seen the anime are much higher. Manga fans are snobs about the anime and anime fans are snobs about the live action, but Ive done them all and they're all good, do whatever you want at the end of the day, but as far as business, it's smart to react to the live action fresh.

Ohh its a long journey, and dont be such a rush, just relax and enjoy it, yes u have a lot of questions, same me too even i read the manga and watch the anime i still have a lot of questions, but regardless of anything just enjoy it slowly eventually u gonna arrive at ur destination

Another idea on One piece: react to early SBS (vol 4-11) and the early cover stories (Buggy/Richie and Koby/Helmeppo). They will give plenty of canon information from early in the manga (some of which made it into the live action); without spoiling later live action seasons.

on winter solo lvling is coming out one of the legendary manga thats gonna be animated or for this season shangrilla frontier is awesome

Cowboy Bebop (the anime not the live one) is an absolute masterpiece. The art design, world building, story, music, character development are all top notch. It's also quite short, having only one season. The absolute GOAT of anime imo

The #1 KZread video I always suggest to newbies is "The appeal of One Piece - where to start". Granted, it has a very bad take on "where to start" (a pretentious, mediocre quality, non-canon movie that completely fails to capture the spirit and the tone of the manga/anime and tries to be something else entirely). However, he nails the "appeal" part beautifully, and on top of that, does a great job at presenting the scale of it. 😉👍

To be very honest with you, and I bet most fans will agree with me, the live action is like a little side quest when it comes to the actual story of One Piece. Please continue the anime if possible, we will greatly appreciate it.

There's no way youll stop where the LA left off. I used to be a dub only non reader. I always said i can wait for the animation and dub. OP was the only thing that got me to start with subs...then i tripped and fell into the manga when i caught up again😅. I am one of the people who wants you to react to the live action blind. I'm glad you're stopping after Arlong Park because I really like watching people react to the live action blind and I'm for sure after the second season you'll continue to watch the anime again. As for anime recommendations for you to watch, maybe Attack on Titan if you haven't seen it, Naruto since it's like One Piece adventure and emotional as well but it's long hahaha. Demon Slayer would be great to start.

totally up to you but I will say that it might take years to get 2-3 more seasons of the LA and that wouldnt even cover half of what one piece is at this point not to mention the LA might not go that long. Plus the One Piece world is so huge that as the LA progresses I dont think they will be able to cover all of the important stuff and lastly like in the LA they spoiled Garp being related to Luffy when that actually takes place wayyy later on in the anime and tbh the way anime did it was way better. Just something you might wanna keep in mind. But if you wanna wait for LA thats fine too enjoy it at your own pace thats the beauty of One Piece

My opinion you should really just keep watching the anime, because even if they are working on season 2 of the live action right now it's a numbers of years away. And even when it eventually does come out they aren't going to capture everything that the world has to offer, the One Piece world is vast and I can bet money that a lot of those Islands that you just caught a glimpse of will never be in the live action with the anime episodes you've watched so far you can see the slight differences between and cuts they had to make in order to fit a live action setting. I really like the live action One Piece it was great but you can still keep going with your anime journey while you wait for season 2 you will love it.

After seen your reaction to this video, i dont think you will be able to stop at reverse mountain 😂😂 or loguetown.

Ad a suggestion for other anime; I don't know what the anime are like, but Toriko and OnePunch-Man are good manga that share a lot of similarity with One Piece.

I just heard that you would stop reacting to one piece anime at the same time where live action ended. As a viewer I'd say that is bad, I want you to keep on reacting to the anime because live action has 1 season and no one's gonna care about it untill 2nd season comes in but anime has 1081 episodes, so much things to cover, as a fan we care about it. Please keep on reacting to it, because the live action was created because of the anime and not the other way around. 😅

When you get to episode 47, then you can wait for season 2! And you can watch episodes 68 and 69 on their own! It's gonna take a while, but I kinda like that you're doing the LA first! Hopefully we get the 12 or so seasons they want for the whole thing... If you want another anime... I don't know about communities, but like I said: The original Cowboy Bebop is UNTOUCHABLE! 26 episodes and a movie!
