I never said she couldn't sing but to have it sounding like it does on the video her voice will have to have so much effects on it, it's kind of a cheat in that respect and as for her diction, yikes, it's pretty awful all round but so are so many of the other songs this year, so it might do ok because of that.

No that was 2018. If he wasn't so stressed he would have been in the top 5. This didn't came close to 2018.

Ireland really upgraded its song since last year and I'm happy it's not underrated. Currently the song is at 5th place in My Eurovision Scoreboard and at 2nd place in my personal TOP 14! ☺

Love Ireland this year. This song is getting very popular in Lithuania already. I'm quite sure it will get lots of points from all of the Baltics. Good luck Ireland! ♥ 🇮🇪

I loved your reaction! I'm British, I know I have Irish ancestors and when I first heard the song, I just automatically felt so much pride for Ireland and I am totally backing my neighbours this year, even if I am abroad and working in Asia. Best of luck to Ireland, I love it!

I liked last years as a song that would come on and I'd listen and be happy but wouldn't seek it out. Maps has joined Shum, Discotheque and Patrik Jean's Tears Run Dry for repeated listens right now. Albania's revamp has been making me happy all day today as well.

I'm just overall so excited for Eurovision to be back, had Lesley in my top 10 last year and I really love this year again for different reasons.

I am so so proud of my country this year. I absolutely love this song. It made me feel so many feels. And I'm actually so excited for the stage at Eurovision itself because the team she has announced behind her is pretty promising. It includes the her stage director and choreographer being the same one that did Mans performance for Heroes back in 2015. I really hope they keep the feeling of the music video or even elevate that feeling. Either way this is the most excited I've been for my country in years.

I also got a bit emotional the first time I heard this - lyrically, it's a brilliant message that really hits hard, especially in these times of having to remain apart from family members (at least in the UK). I’ve got a good feeling about Ireland this year improved song, it’s anthemic builds nicely and very catchy. They have a great team behind it for staging I know it’s in the bigger hitter semi final but I see a path for qualification I think this could be a dark horse for this year great job ireland :)

Because i was afraid of being disappointed but after seeing your vid i immediately when and listened to it and i can tell you 100% ireland did not dissappoint this year. Impossible , this a good song ( better than last year) but not for the win

I get it Alesia, I also got a bit emotional when I heard this song. It feels much more personal than her song in 2020 (which is a bit strange of course: what could be more personal than the story of your life?). I really like it, even if it's not ground breaking or anything, it is quite captivating. Hope she can translate this to the stage.

Alesia Michelle, I don't think you are overreacting. It has a regal sound from the beginning- reminds me of the 'postcard' music before performances. Then it takes off and feels like the excitement we have inside when starting a new journey in life. Her voice possesses a quiet inner confidence and a determination which builds and becomes stronger by the song's end. The song literally has movement. I am so surprised and happy about it. While all the heavy hitters battle it out, I think this song could push forward toward the top.

This song definitely will work with the audience. It is energetic, building-up and has a memorable hook. If the staging is good this could be something like a dark horse....

My favorite so far, love it so much, but it might change, because there are still some returning acts Who was in my top 10/top 5 even last year, that I'm really looking forward to like Iceland and Switzerland and Malta and if Estonia pick one of my two favorites it'll be high up there too, and Italy is almost always in my top 10, and others might surprise, so let's wait and see.

well, as I said in other videos of Ireland's entry, this is still another nostalgic song (that Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson or Taylor Swift, or even Carly Rae Jepsen, might release in the 2000s or early 2010s), but somehow feels more Celtic-Irish.
