There are many Muslim women who do not put themselves in that situation but are still attacked by bigots in broad day light and in front of ;family members, friends and witnesses. Our men, no matter how protective they are, can never be with us every single moment of our lives. In your story, you didn't know what to do because you never learned what to do and even if you watched a vid or two, you never practiced the moves. But as a woman whose husband has taught her self defense and gun use, I'm telling you that once you learn, practice and absorb the necessary knowledge, you WILL know what to do if the situation arises.

There was an attempted kidnapping in my local neighborhood years ago of a 4/5 year old child who playing right outside of her house. The little girl screamed, held on to some stair railings, bit his hands when he tried to grapple her by the shoulders and kept shouting loudly until some of the neighbors came running down and chased the guy off. He had his van open and was ready to run away with that little girl but she put up some fight and did what SHE could do in her little power which alhamdulilah worked. So Daniel making fun of this and literally advising women to just "take your husband everywhere" is just dumb. Experts say you either fight or die fighting. It’s not nice to ridicule sisters especially when it comes to serious issues like Islamophobic attacks. It’s best to try to get rid of the attacker’s hold than just succumb to their will and think that there’s nothing you can do since you are just a weak woman. Sometimes you may be in a situation where you don’t have your husband to protect you. You may be able to escape if they cannot easily beat you. Women should exercise and strength train too. It is good for their health and may prevent many conditions, such as osteoporosis, hypertension, hyperlipidemia. This is now a second video which Daniel finds very funny.

Bro he is simply criticising the delusion that women can fight back in such situations, because if they did they can find themselves in even more trouble. The best case in these scenarios for women is to tryin ESCAPE such men, have some sprays etc with you, spray them and just run for Allah's sake, whats wrong with you people? Even cavemen knew the power of man is unmatchable for a woman, all these stunts dont work in real world other than making your attacker even more furious and also you can miss your genuine chance to escape by being foolish to fight back. Even in mma you have weight classes which means lighter athletes even with all their fighting skills will get destroyed by powerful heavier athletes. What chance do you think women have against much powerful men against them? Also you will simply waste your time and money on such people who make you believe you take on a man in a street fight.

Do you not know that women cannot have their husbands with them 24/7 everywhere they go?! Subhanalaah. What do you mean"take your husband with you." Are you that out of touch? 🤦‍♀️. We have to take the kids out, go shopping for groceries, go to appointments etc by ourselves a lot of the times. The whole point of the video is, FIGHT BACK. If someone grabs you in the in the street, you’re gonna go into shock, you’re gonna be frightened and freeze. You’re gonna lose all the strength in your limbs. Secondly, if you do strike someone bigger than, you’re only going escalate the level of violence from the perpetrator. I don’t think you realisethe level of force that can be generated by a man when he throws a punch. This could cause a severe injury. It sisters are out alone, I’d suggest always being mindful of your surroundings, if you see someone who looking dodgy keep well away. Don’t wear headphones, in case someone runs up on you. If pepper spray is legal carry that or carrying a small pocket torch is very helpful, especially if you have one that is super bright and does the strobe lighting effect . If you've noticed, almost all attacks on Muslim women are carried out not in some lonely dark alley late at night but in daytime and in public places where they're going about their daily business and should feel safe. Husbands can work two or three jobs and still make time to run outside errands like grocery shopping, kids dental appointments, school meetings, car inspections etc. etc. If they can't pull it off, then there's always welfare or the good ol' van life and putting the kids up for adoption to further simplify your life. In as much as we want our sisters to be able to defend themselves in situations where their lives are at risk, we don't want them to have this fixation about using force every time someone invades their personal space, especially with men who might be too strong for them. Sometimes, it is better to de-escalate such situations and move on with your physical integrity intact. It is also very important for Muslim men and women to say the following dua before leaving their houses as reported in the following Hadith: Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whoever says (upon leaving his house): 'Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah [In the Name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, there is no might or power except by Allah],' it will be said to him: 'You are guided, defended and protected.' The devil will go far away from him". [Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and An- Nasa'i]. Abu Dawud reported it with this addition: "One devil will say to another: 'How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended and protected?".

A serious attempt at preparing oneself for self defense is indeed necessary for women. I think the wiser approach should be to carry some sort of pepper spray or equally strong spray on your person at all times, and also to consider other types of self defense things that are legal in your country's laws. Here in Germany, the law allowd for small self defense knives. I think it's worth considering for women who are forced to go out of the house alone often, especially if she lives in an area with a history of Islamophobic attacks on Muslims.

There are strong women, the word strong have different meanings the first one masculinity that men have and the second spirit power ( inner, mental) and most women have it, i don't say that men don't have that but they are not strong enough like women in that field, like giving birth, doing different tasks at the same time, life compensate everything. Men and women are different, they have different role and power but they are equal, so don't make fun of one gender

Im not too sure if self defence is haram to learn, but if its not then I wouldn't discourage women from learning. This specific step by step guide is trash, but a real combat sport and a couple years of experience will overcome any weight and strength disparity, and a weapon even more so. Even though a 5'4 125 lb woman is definitely weaker and smaller than the average man, experience and mentality is arguably more important than just pure strength. That being said, stay with your husbands. A man being there will make it less likely that you even run into trouble in the first place. A lone woman is more likely to be attacked than a woman with a man at her side. Esp if the husband is the brother in the video lmao.

@@Nameless54310 Ill have to disagree here. First and foremost, you pit a 5ft girl against a 6ft guy who is "good shape" and "athletic". Cmon. The average woman is 5'4 and the average man 5'8. We all also know that the average man is NOT in good shape OR athletic. Secondly, if you think you could beat any womens ufc fighter, good luck man. You would not claim that you could outrun professional sprinters who are women, nor would you claim you could outlift professional powerlifters who are women. Both those sports have less technique and more raw power than fighting does, so what makes you think you could beat a trained fighter? A trained individual is always going to have the upper hand. That is reality. Your size and strength mean nothing if you can't use it correctly and the average man doesnt know how. Strength, size, and athleticism matter yes, but they are only 1 of 3 pillars to what makes a good fighter. If you miss the other 2 then you will not be a great fighter of course.
