@@itzel1735 Joni Mitchell wasn't from Winnipeg. She was from Saskatoon (iirc) which is about an 8 hour drive from Winnipeg (maybe more). It could be argued that BTO was spawned there though since Randy Bachman was part of the Guess Who. Yorkville (in Toronto) was a major music scene at about that time as well. There is still an active music scene here (Winnipeg) partly due to the influence of the Winnipeg Folk Festival (which covers a lot of musical genres in addition to folk). It runs events and workshops year round. Faouzia was a member of it's young performer program. She might be too big a name to perform there now.

Her lower register is just INSANE! 😱 I’ve become such a huge fan of her and how she approaches her songs. Just so much greatness! And yes, there’s always ‘a lot’ to take in for sure. I want to study her voice too!! Great comments😁 😱😱

Great react !! I loved ! She's Moroccan but lives in Canada. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and fluent in 3 languages (arabic, french, english). I discovered her last year and fell in love with her voice and her songs, her tone really amazing.

😲 Faouzia has such a beautiful voice. I’ve never heard of her until 2 years ago when Kelly Clarkson released a Multi-Language Duet song ‘I Dare You’. I became a fan of hers since. ☺️✨

This is my favourite song of her, that ascending to the high note and staying on the plateau with full weight without cracking is just amazing, I love it.

....Her parents, they also 100% moroccan just like her, sang moroccan songs full of arabic trills, soon after she was introduced to pop music. 😊🤍
She’s phenomenal!!! I would say reacting to all stripped version, Elon How it all works out Tears of gold Bad dreams 100 band aids Also a cover she’s done !! It’s called “Desert rose” one specifically for heritage month. It will leave you even more amazed!!

Love it. Gorgeous low end voice without it being too forced with a touch of vibrato. Again, not forced, very natural. I've honestly not heard much of her before. Definitely one to watch some more. Please could you take a look at "Stay" by Sugarland. I challenge you to not feel choked up when you listen to the emotion paired with the words. Just amazing.

Fabulous heartwarming reaction ! Faouzia is able to grab your attention immediately and you become mesmerized and captivating by dynamic vocals ! Her Moroccan influence is so evident in her music and she transitions it so smoothly into the song ! Faouzia wrote and composed the music for this song ! The lyrics are so relatable to her audience ! I like the way she sings with a totally passionate conviction ! She is such a hidden talent in my country of Canada it's unreal ! But she was finally recently acknowledged at the Canadian Music Awards last week !!!! Her stripped concert from where this song was performed is a masterpiece in excellence of songwriting and vocal performance ! ! You have really messed with me. She is like the female counterpart to Dimash. She moved to Canada at the age of one. She is an Artist. If she hasn't blown up indicates that she hasn't sold her soul. If she does a concert nearby, I am there.. if I can climb out of my Rabbit Hole.

I actually didn't know her until she did a song with Kelly Clarkson in arabic (I Dare You) and fell in love with her voice and that very special accent or way of singing she has that reminds me of our magrebine singers. As always love your reactions💜💜

@@HegeOfficial The all-Arabic duet with Kelly is nice. The 6 language version with 4 additional singers is too busy IMO. If I recall the video of the duet, you can really see what both ladies do physically while singing.

🤯🙀😧? !!! where i should start... now i only know her over youTube (also over many fan channels - they put best of TikTok and live streams also on KZread) but i think i can write books to her (or at least one) you already done a reaction to Kelly Clarkson she also realised how amazing Faouzia is .... and she had a great Idea - she asked 5 other sings to translate her song 'I dare you' to her mother tongue and faouzia was one of it ... so she had an very spezial version of 'I dare you' (translated by Faouzia and her parents) iwhich is a mixed of arabic and marrocan arabic) maybe because she can talk in 3 very different languages (french, english and marrocan arabic) without and accent - maybe why she has the ability to sing in so different styles in one song ... her most versatile song so far is the stripped version of 'Tears of Gold' - but she had so far only very good songs... and some really amazing covers ... also where she learned a lot of ... also a rap song called 'Middle Child' from the Rapper J.Cole she really made her own and learned a lot of breath control and how you can flow and vibes with words ...
