I saw Billy Idol live about 12 times starting in 1981 or 82. He is incredible live. Even in his older age.

I recommended the original Rebel Yell reaction as well as the Love Don't Live Here Anymore. Sorry. That was cute but Miley just can't hack it with Billy. If you will watch his live Concert at Hoover Dam in 2023 you will see that even at now SIXTY-EIGHT years old he can rock and HOWL almost as well as when he was younger. His guitar player Steve Stevens has only gotten better over the years and he has put together an incredible band. They are currently touring Canada.

Billy Idol's original band was Generation X. They were a punk band from the late 70s...like the OG punk movement in London. It seems silly to listen to Billy Idol now when he was so important back then and the music reflected that. Dancing With Myself was a solo hit for him but it was originally a Gen X song. Gen X recorded a song called Kiss Me Deadly and it is one of my favorite songs hands down. Ready Steady Go is another good one. Speaking of punk.....Have you considered any Sex Pistols songs? You should.

The thing I didn’t like the most was Miley talking over Steve’s guitar solo

I cannot deny their talent and popularity, but neither are my cup of tea.

I thought it was a fun performance but would prefer Billy on his own. That said this performance by Miley is what got me interested in seeing what else she was doing musically. She has some really good rock covers besides Metallica.

Just wondering if you have checked out ABBA yet? I used to love them! Winner Takes it All is one if my favorite songs, but all their songs are great.

I don't know if she was nervous or what, but she's done better. I prefer him alone on this song as well. 😊
