Yooooo Vincent is a beast with the knife.....Brooooo, that was epic
Hey mate! That third vid isn’t a Kahawai, it’s a Koheru. They make great sashimi and they are a great sign there could be kingfish as they love them
Loving these thumbnails!!!
Vincent is a savage!! Brah! I Stabed the fish with my dive knife!! Lol... yeah you!!!!

oh NO!!!! this is the first and last time I listen to Ryan. Sorry about that!
Honestly love the contrast of perspectives in this video with the both of you guys reviewing them! Ive learned so much from what the average diver(most of us) would have seen versus what an expert spearo would notice. Seeing both of you interact naturally is the coolest nich/series of a podcast ive probably seen and kept me glued to the screen!
42:16 thanks for sharing my clip. It was a gulf grouper. I was hole hunting so didn’t use the assist band, but you’re right, it’s annoying to let it flop around, I should keep it on the cheater tab. Keep up the great channel!
I love this style of video! Thanks for taking the time to go through and give your thoughts! For me, I’d prefer shorter segments if this style... maybe 15-20 mins. I’m guessing it would be easier for you and you’d get more videos out of it too.
Last video was a Blue Groper, theyre the largest species of wrasse and theyre legal to shoot in Queensland but not NSW
yeeew thanks for putting my clips in and all of the dives is on kauai btw sick video

Nah, that guy in Mexico took a drop on that school, realized his safety was still on, flicked it off, and still sniped one. That’s a good dive every day of the week
Thanks for watching my clips, I'm on Oahu and that Mu was watching me from the side the whole time while I was waiting for it to get in front of me! University educated Mus.
Love these break downs!!
Loved it guys. Please keep them coming. Very interesting and refreshing to see new places and other divers hunting.
Great video Ryan love how you guys put this together.
Kingfish are in Australia as well
Vincent for the Win with that Knife!!!! I lost it when he stuck that fish!!
That on thubmail is Croatia fish best hardest ❤️❤️👏💪💪👍👍
Loving this type of video
Halibooot!
This was awesome! I hope you do more of these style videos.
Love the video guys! It's great having 2 points of view. Ryan who is a bit of a freak (depth and breath hold) and Sam who is a lot more relatable to 99% of the rest of us. Thanks to everyone who posted their videos. Great community learning opportunity. Highlight for me was the knife work in NZ
Love your videos, all of them. Very informative. Keep'em coming.
yo my clip made it 9:10 !
Beautiful scenes under water. Nice hair Ryan, don't think I've ever seen it combed!! Lol. Wow sounds like you guys and mom will be having a great time!!
Love the format
Ryans favorite saying: "Go to the bottom I promise you" for the 100th time.😂
Hey Ryan, thanks for including my clips. All the clips were from Norway, and the two first ones were atlantic cod and the two last ones were dover sole. Yes, the water is cold, the cod was shot in northern norway in 7-10 degrees water. Was really looking for a halibut or a wolffish, but couldn't find any. In Northern Norway most of the time you can just spot fish from the surface because the fish up here are dumb and most guys don't chum at all. And about the gloves....I had forgotten them at home.

when you hunt flatfish it's much more efficient to hunt in shallow water, since you can cover more ground in a shorter period of time. Lastly: Guess my turbot clip i tried to upload didn't go through. Gotta try again

I've been waiting for someone to say "just forget my gloves at home" hahaha! and here we are, ripping you to shreds for it. Thanks for answering our questions we loved the clips! Norway is high on the list....

@@makogirl33 the only down side is the ice cold water. Diving in 2 degree water during isn’t the warmest experience
Promote more dive buddy. Everyone that goes into the water should always have a dive partner
Last fish was a Blue Groper, hi from Australia
This video is awesome. I have watch most of your stuff and am spear fishing for the first time ever in Kauai in two weeks. Feel like I have learned so much hope it will help for my first time.
Love the format!
florida and bahamas, cant wait
It was fun seeing you react to the Arctic videos. Definitely fun diving up here!
I REALLY like you guys doing this... awesome
For the questions about the northern diving. I dive and spear in Norway and i dive in waters that's normaly -6°C to 2°C in the cold half of the year and then we got some time with toasty tropical waters with a temp of 8°C up to 18°C The fish looked like a Cod yes. The northern Cod can get HUGE.
Keep them coming
Great video and thanks for the tips
Last fish looks like a blue groper
Vincent the man!! I liked it, I could watch all night
So glad that you thinking South Africa. Someone that actually wants to come here even with our below average visibility. The first fish that Matt caught was a Hottentot and good on you for knowing our local fish 👍🏻
These videos make me realize how good you are!!
16:08 Musselcrackers eat crabs, mussels, allekreukel, redbait and well anything on the reef. There are other fish that are better eating quality than it but it has a lot of meat and you can consistently get them above 70cm
Awesome episode Ryan!looking forward to seeing more like this 🔨🔨🔨
THiS VIDEO ROCKED! Thanks guys for this compilation of videos it was so enjoyable. Nice content!
I love the surf zone Theres always going to be big fish there
Love this new content! Really really good info and enjoy the little arguments! Agree with Ryan all the time tho 😂 Keep em coming
The video was amazing I really enjoyed it and the tips too 👌🔥
This was so fun
Hey thanks for reacting to my clip I’m the first clip sorry the clip ended early
That last fish would have been an eastern or western blue grouper, a member of the wrasse family and likely shot in the southern parts of Western Australia or the south of the east coast
love this vid !!!
if u want to come to south africa come in nobember to december thats when its sommer
Nice video, please do more like it
You should do one on spearfishing fails and give criticism on that. Btw sick vid🤙
HAHA I just recognized that you said “HALIBUUT” that’s a Daniel Mann reference 😂 I caught a halibut once and I just started screaming “HALLIIBUUUUUT HALLLIIIBUTTTTT”

Those cold water fish (likely in Norway) were indeed cod Ryan!
This is a great idea! Love this! I'll send one in next time!
There are kingfish in Australia too
13:45 Its South Africa in the Western Cape area as you can see by the kelp in the third video and the guy is using a freedivers speargun, the last fish was a Hottentot
That was so good!
This was cool, going to apply pointers to my dives as well.. Ryan’s resting grumpy cat face while watching the clips though lol, sorry but Sam might appreciate that haha
Always great content! #Bravo!
Love it
Goodluck on Lanai. Lots of deer out here. Hopefully you can get good film. 🤙🏾
Loving the frequent uploads. Sam thank you.....Ryan happy wife happy life you sticking...love the vid

I’ll be sending you some freshwater vids here in the next couple of months when the water is warm enough
Kauai boys for the win!
Come Kauai, I’d love to show you around. Keep up the videos
I'm gonna have to do some deep water trout streams in the fresh water. By deep, I'm talking like 18 feet. Gotta use a light. Tannic water is no joke.
Good work 👍🏻
You guys r fun lol
If you want a challenge come spearfish Guam my brother. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The third vincent video its a yellow tail scad or yakka in Australia a kahawai is something different they look like kingfish but are all silver and not as big
Everyone is so good. I’ve only been spearfishing for about 8 months, so scared to post mine.
6:10 was a koheru. looks similar to a jack mackerel but kingfish r seriously attracted by them. some spear fishos spear them and leave them on the spear to attract the kingfish to the area.
Ryan respect Sam knowledge she knows too 🤣😂🤣😂

That cod looked like here in Alaska
You famous on Kauai, need to come down
Have you chased snapper in australia? If so how do they compare to mu? The first australian fish was a venus tuskfish and the second was a blue groper.
Hahah, not a kahawai, Ryan - it's a koheru! 😁
I'll be sending you some videos from Costa Rica soon! Hope you recognize it

3rd Vincent vid he shot a mackerel not a kahawai
