I have four instar 7 regal jumping spiders fresh off a molt. I'm trying to find homes for them but being the last of the bunch eveyone in the area that wants one has one. I even hit up the elementary school down the road. Im out of ideas. I got them from a lady that was going to cull the whole sac after buying a gravid female online. Never had a spider before but it has been amazing! I could watch them for hours and this last molt was like opening a christmas present, their look changed so much. Anyone have any ideas as far as finding homes for the last few? If it comes down to it I'll keep them. I just dont have the space! Also, Tarantula Kat was instrumental in my keeping these guys alive. I love every video I watch even if its not about jumpers. One day Ill have a tarantula and I never thought I'd say that! Great video as always!

Should be getting my Sweet Dreams Tarantula Crib tomorrow. I ordered it to re-house my Caribena versicolor but unfortunately it had a bad molt and passed.

God I wish I could just appreciate the cute jumping spider faces, wolf spiders have!! They are so smart and cute but.....I am terrified of them. It's just a life time of being so shocked and surprised by these Lil speed demons! AND THEY DON'T RUN if I bring my broom. No!! . They stand up and Buck up at me!! They wanna do battle!! No sir. Hi Kate , silly question but how often do you feed your little hairy m8’s ? my daughter has 2 chilly roses and they drive me round the bend with there diet , i’m lucky if they eat once a month . i do tempt them with food but only having the 2 i waste more than they eat of there hoppy friends , especially the girl who’s around 10 and the boy is around 8 . i have asked others on here and emailed zoo’s on this matter but i don't think they know coz never reply . @@ryanvdmarelso I personally just keep a space heater in the corner by my jumpers in the winter since it does get a little chilly by the window and I recommend that. Just make sure you stay on top of misting bc they will dry out faster.

Why are you ok with crickets, catipilars and worms dying but are sad where spiders do? I always thought as crickets as cute little harmless hopping things, butterfiles as beauties and we rely on worms for our soil, spiders can be gross and dangerous(EXCEPT for tarantulas, those are cute). Why no terrarium just for crickets, butterflies ext. to live in and be happy?

Because those crickets and worms aren’t dying for nothing, they’re food for my animals. I eat fish, i love fish but I would never be okay with someone killing a fish if they weren’t using it for food. I still feel mercy for the crickets, worms, etc but it is apart of the ecosystem and how the food chain works. Killing an animal for no reason but because you’re “scared” or “don’t like it” is unacceptable. And by the way, I’m not mad at anyone eating tarantulas as part of their culture either. That’s also different.

Weird questions but had you ever get bitten ? By any spiders you have and if you do what type of spider was is and on a scale of 1 to 10 ho musch did it hurt ?
