Xenoblades is one of those games one simply must play. It's not a game, it's art.

Xenoblade has a really wide range of quality music. They have metal, swelling orchestras, choirs, jazz etc. It's the best time to start playing Xenoblade now that all 3 main games are on the Switch. All games have become my favorites, and I'd say they each have their strengths. Xenoblade 1 for crazy twists in the story and a likable protagonist Xenoblade 2 for its iconic soundtrack (best of the 3 imo) and engaging battle mechanics Xenoblade 3 for a really lovable cast and a relatable theme in the story All 3 games have great plots, casts and music. If you want to start, I recommend doing 1, 2, 3 in order. While there is no definitive order for these games, 2 is very slow to start, and 3 has a lot of references to 1 and 2 that you will miss. Regardless of what you decide, have fun!might

I highly recommend playing the games in order, from the Xenoblade Chronicles: DE --> Xenoblade Chronicles 2 --> Xenoblade Chronicles 3. All the games have wonderful storytelling and interesting and thought provoking themes. Of course, across all the games have a great soundtrack (some of the best honestly) with a lot of variety. Each xenoblade game have something different to offer and even excels in certain things better than the others. But you can expect a good time with all 3 games. Personally speaking, Xenoblade 1 has my favorite story hands down. The character development, the story beats, the plot twists... man. it's great. Xenoblade 2 has some amazing moments, and riveting gameplay, while also sporting arguably the best OST out the 3. Do note that it has a rather slow start, and tutorials do an awful job explaining the gameplay. Just do yourself a favor and look up youtube vids for a clearer explanation. Once you get, boy it's amazing. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is awesome as it is a clear evolution between the first 2 games. I think the gameplay for 3 is my favorite. The character development of the main group is at its best. Heck, even the side characters are great. World building is phenomenal and the side quests are great. It has some highest highs in the series, but it does have wonky pacing near the end. If you enjoy the games, I highly recommend playing the DLCs for all the games. It adds greater depth to the main stories and offer a different experience as well. Lol don't know if you can tell it's one of my favorite series.

So, for context... This is not the final boss theme. The first time you hear this in battle... is at the finale of the *Prologue.* And from there, it's used for a few major fights and as the Quirky Miniboss Squad theme.

3:32 yeah well there is a reason why it was nominated for Game of the Year last year (although it didn‘t win in the end). Xenoblade is my absolute fav Story in all of media. I legit cried during the credits of the Story DLC of 3 cause it marked the definitive end to this story arc as a comment of the developer confirmed. There‘ll be new Xenoblade Games, but the story of this trilogy is now finished up so now is the best time ever to play the games since they are all on Switch. 6:30 and yes this is a relatively normal ass boss theme🤣. You hear it at least like 30 times in the game and already in Chapter one. It‘s against a certain group of enemies that are the main antagonists.

Moebius is basically a group within Xenoblade 3. And their sign is the infinity symbol. You can actually hear this in this theme - during the laughs, you can hear the laughs pan between ears in an infinity symbol. So cool!

Play Xenoblade. Do it now. :heart:

One of the cool things about the music in Xenoblade 3 specifically is how intergraded it is into the story and characters. Without any spoilers the beginning synopsis of the game is of two warring nations who have people called Off-seers (people who send off the dead with flutes) in their ranks. The cool thing about this is that both sides use different flutes of higher and lower tunes and each Off-seer as their own song, but when these songs are played at the same time it makes an even better song (this song is a Life Sent On.) It doesn’t stop there as they use these flutes for multiple tracks throughout the game and as you associate the two flutes with two the two Off-seers in your party during any emotional seen you can notice how the flutes reflect the characters during certain cutscenes. Also these flutes are Shinobue flutes that are made of bamboo which every shinobue flute has a slightly different sound since all bamboo are different. The main composer wanted a unique sound that no one has heard before so he actually had the two shinobue flutes in the game custom made and are the very flutes recorded for every song. They are really cool so I suggest looking them up. Be carful of spoilers though.

I think, every Xenoblade player is looking forward to the next Moebius battle only to hear this theme. When it plays for the very first time in chapter 1, it's such a surprise... I have seen so many let's plays until now - and every single one was just blown away and reacted the same way I did when I was in that same situation.

I'm a newcomer to the Xenoblade franchise and I was blown away by how much I ended up loving the characters and music of this game ❤

There is a solid ending to this song but it changes depending on the enemy you fight. Also this is only phase 1 of this song. There is also "Moebius Battle Interlink" or just "Moebius Battle (Phase 2)".

I'll just say that this is definitely a lower major boss theme since it's for the generic villains, but my god there are multiple boss themes for more important characters that go just as hard. The fact that even the regular battle themes can be listen to for hours should tell you just how much quality the composers put into this OST.

Just to put this in context. THIS is the normal boss theme of the game. Not the final boss. Not the superboss theme. Not the Unique Monster theme. Not the major boss theme (though there are two other variations of this theme that you hear during major encounters). This is the normal boss theme. You hear this theme potentially over a dozen times throughout the game, depending on how much you do. And every time you hear it, it's always amazing.

if you want more xeno music to react to, I suggest fogbeast battle, it originally plays on Xenoblade Chronicles 1 Future Connected, but it was brought back on Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed. It has the best piano I have ever heard is so amazing

You do! Grew up in Calgary. I wonder how valuable these pins are now, some of them date back to 2013/14.

You think this was good? You only heard like a third of the whole song, really; there's the phase 2 variant, as well and the "M" version, which just adds a whole other layer to the whole thing. The official soundtrack is out by the time I'm writing this, so you can hear all the versions with proper transitions, and even an unused part :D

I do think Xenoblade 3 is the strongest one gameplay-wise and story-wise it was quita significant for me
