Flying over all these landscapes took me back to the iconic zoomout at the very start of Xenoblade 1

i believe it's pretty clear the cubes in origin are meant to be basically just that: advanced core crystals. the soldiers of aionios bear an incredibly similar life cycle to blades, and origin was built using technology from both worlds, primarily being designed by characters like tora who have knowledge on how blade technology works, so it's safe to assume origin was meant to store the worlds's data via those crystals, but was hijacked by moebius along the way.

I have always wondered if the devs hid an Easter egg (making reference to Pyra or Mythra) or something in Uraya, specifically at the top of the staircase that led to Olethro Ruins. Tysm for putting down my curiosity to rest 🙏 It is sad to think a very important place from XC2 was still intact during Future Redeemed but got decimated by an Annihilation event.

This was such a cool video! The environments in this series are one of the biggest reasons i love it so much. It's great seeing how everything fits together from a distance.

Something unrelated but interesting about the Ouroboros forms since you said Eunie looks like she has the Monado: Noah has two swords on his back that he combines into one for his talent art, which is likely a big reference to Rex in FR

Obviously unrelated to oob secrets, but you mentioned how Noah's english VA wasn't nominated. It seems only actors from the original non-dub versions can be candidates for said award, which again and agreeing with you I feel was a complete snub to our boy. His work was superb.

I guess, but Xenoblade 3 came out in English at the same time as it did in Japanese, so it's not like the Japanese is the "original". It kinda feels unfair since if a western game got released in multiple languages on day 1 it wouldn't be exempt.

Can't believe they modeled the Sword Valley cavity on the sword, so cool!

there are a lot of cool cutscene shots you could show off like the one where Miyabi saves Mio and Sena. you can actually see there were 2 extra pods when she saved Mio but when she goes back to get Sena they are gone leaving her to self sacrifice. its also easier to see Miyabi didn't get in with them because the pod is only big enough for 2 people there wasn't space for her

Great vid! Keep up the amazing work! I love finding in-game ways to get out of bounds (as you can see from some of my uploads) but it's super difficult to make these discoveries, so it's awesome having you dedicating time and work to make these videos. It satisfies a certain itch I have to see things I'm not intended to, hahaha! :)

Besides 60fps and 1080p resolution, I really want a camera mode for this game. Both Smash and Halo have amazing theater modes so you can appreciate their games, really hope both xenoblade and splatoon get official one since their games are jampacked with detail.

Great video! There is one small thing I think you missed showing, and it's the part where Cadensia leads back to Aetia at Captocorn Peak. In-game the transition seems very odd, but looking out of bounds you can actually see a rather large pathway lead directly to the Gormott head. It shows that the regions really are all connected, I guess they just cut out a less interesting part of traversing it.

I hear you can see Mor Ardain's hand somewhere in Xenoblade 3, but you have to look at the correct angle

You can see it in some buildings in Maktha Forest, ando also see it in Cadensia near the edge.

I actuly think that the Theater in Origin, is the Theater from Fonsa Myma.

I loved seeing all these environments thank you

I feel dumb for only noticing just now, but Noah's ouroboros form has a horn that is quite similar to the head of the bionis

Well you've just made me wish that in the next Xenoblade we get a late game/postgame mode of transportation that is just freely flying around ( not to the extreme degree you showed, but still ). That frolic in Cadensia was beautiful.

Xenoblade X had free flying in Mechs (called Skells) in a single open world, assuming that 2 and 3 (and DE) are made on upgraded versions of that same engine, it could definitely handle it. It would be nice as the locations in XBC 3 look so nice.

Huh. I knew about Skells but I didn't know you could do free-flying with them ! Still I don't mean with mechs, more like little fairies riding air currents, that always appealed to me.

Wow after finishing the video I kinda want to cry. Noah is looking very sad in that "victory is ours !" cutscene. Oof. You're sooo evil for the music you played at the end, I'm so emotional now. Kinda wanted to see the Great Sword's Base a little, plus the place in the Sword with all the corpses, and what's inside the various Ferronises if we haven't done that. I'm off to check out the Future Redeemed video !

18:39 Mein Englisch ist leider zu schlecht um dazu was zu sagen, aber diese "Kernkristalle" sind Kontrollkerne, wie der von Ophion, den Mythra in Kapitel 6 repariert, da sonst Genbu untergehen würde. Also könnte mal vielleicht davon ausgehen, dass diese Kerne zur Kontrolle des Origons dienen. Aber das ist nun eine reine Vermutung.

Incredible video! I've been wondering about what the founders statues look like up close, and if there are any details that might hint more at who they were. Like is there a core crystal on Glimmer?

there is but it was changes as to not give it away, also the mythra/pyra hair swoosh on their bangs was also removed

I wish you could've shown that massive island next to Aetia that some where thinking was Tantal prior to Future Redeemed, I know there's at least a low poly rendered version of it since you can see it from the Cloudkeep.

@@Fermin-hw5pd After beating FR, you can do a challenge battle and unlock Shulk and Rex as Heroes. The game literally tells you this and they aren't full Heroes such as their classes being locked to them and un-inheritable, but you can add them to your party and the main cast even has a few unique lines in battle like Noah saying "So this is the Monado's power"

Like mentioned in another comment and in the video, some cutscenes are prerendered. That also counts for the ending, which means it's just a video. I can't explore anything there unfortunatly... But i'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Is it just me, I honestly think that the map modeling was better in 2 than 3, beside the poor resolution 2 had.

xc2 is slightly more detailed but thats because its significantly smaller, they also use normal maps more in xc2 to give off the appearance of more detail xc3 only uses them when its raining
