I don’t understand the hate she gets, critics tear her down since Witness. The reviews for SMILE were saying the “more of the same” and it didn’t fit for the 2020 pandemic, it’s bullshit because Chromatica got praised, and it’s an upbeat pop album. It’s so infuriating to see how much shit Katy Perry puts up with even when the album’s good she still gets shit on.

2023 I m rewatching this after almost 3 years and this album is as relevant as it was in 2020! Harleys in Hawaii became a hit and NRO it s still my favorite song of Katy and my most played one too. So this is what we can call replay value, like her entire discography!❤

I got really surprised by ur reaction. I really loved. Katy is such a fantastic artist and she has proven tons of times that she's talented and still some people discredit her. this album is very pop and diserve so much love. Thanks for every kind words u said about this project.

I wasn't listening to Katy Perry for so long but this album is actually really good! I think i will always be in love with Never Really Over song. My top tracks from this album are definitely: 1. I think Harleys in Hawaii really didnt fit at first, but she listed the track well after Harleys in Hawaii, two mid tempo song follows so it make sense to put hih there

The album is good for sure ... Cry bout it later is sooo damm good .. Tucked has the potential to get stuck in ur head .. Only love lyrically so positive and sweet single.. what makes a woman , again sweet and honest reflection of Katy .. Teary eyes can probably one can listen when suffering from breakup but still got hopes to life .. Smile the title track as a powerful anthem and so joyful to listen.. KatyCatz don’t care about the charts .. The album in whole gives positive vibes and lyrically got the potential to stand by their own.. Katy never promotes nudity in her songs nor lyrically nor in videos .. She’s really upto maintain some dignity and gracefully she delivered it with “SMILE” !!❤️

Honestly I don't get it why critics hated on Smile album big time? This is an AWESOME album, so personal, bop after bop, multidimensional and fun. I really start to believe she is been targeted.
