Regardless, Simone is very quick and efficient. Especially in her Bars and Beam construction.

Naw she won't do the biles on beam because it is not rewarded enough for the risk and deductions. It's not that she can't, cause she can do it with ease lol, but she won't. I mean, unless it comes down to a situation where she is contending for Gold in the finals at worlds and/or Paris and adding the biles dismount would secure the win?

Yes, ..what @kingCao.. said. Plus Simone eliminated a cast to handstand and straddle tkatchev because you can only get credit for one move of same origin in the new code. Now she is linking the 1st 5 together which gives her 0.4 bonus. We'll see if she adds as the season progresses.

I fell out of love with gymnastics but simone put me back in the game....🎉❤ and yes the bar was short or was simone just super fast

Yooooo I was there very front row by floor!! And it was so dope to see Simone return and all of my other fave athletes (Leanne was awesome! Jocelyn was great! Kaliya was a new star for me!) Can't wait to see what happens at Championships, bc I want to see Shilese out there and several others that should return! Do we know what is happening with Konnor??!!

that's crazy you were there at the Classic. On TV it looks like the stadium blew up when Simone "did her thang"! Was the energy as electric as it seemed on tv in the actual stadium? It seemed like Las Vegas plus New Years Eve plus a Taylor Swift Eras concert all mixed in when Simone finished each routine and especially when she hit her YDP vault! She was smoking it. I am so glad she is feeling better and doing this for fun and for herself, she doesn't have to prove sh!t since she has nothing more she needs to win in terms of medals and accolades.

@danielkim7841 yessssss the whole stadium was LIT! And not just for Simone (even tho she often drew the biggest explosive cheers), the crows was incredible at supporting all of the athletes. Like, people were SO attentive and respectful for each routine. We all would clap and cheer and encourage them through the routine and if they fell or wobbled the crowd would yell encouragements like "you got it! Come on! Shake it off!". It was just an amazing positive atmosphere full of gymnastics fans truly appreciating the sport. I will also say that part of the electric fun came from the overall atmosphere change of tye USAG competitions. Everyone on the podium- coaches, medical staff, athletes, commentators, etc. they all just looked so relaxed and really enjoyed themselves. They were allowed to dance around, joke with each other, cheer, interact with the audience, etc. And so that made the whole event just seem like a great celebration, instead of this super serious life or death, aka Marta Karolyi era, and so Everyone was in the party together. And I have to say-- to all the haterz out there that doubted Simone....where you at now? Seem pretty quiet to me. AND I also have to say- to all the critics out there that said we wouldn't be competitive anymore if we "softened up" on the athletes...where you at too? Cause from what I see, the girls are even BETTER with a fun, relaxed, non-punishment atmosphere. And that just proves that you can still win medals and be the best and not abuse your young athletes. Ugh, I have so much to say lolz. In the end, the whole squad did amazing, the night was glorious, and watching Simone that close up do the hardest gymnastics ever done was MAGIC! So stoked for Championships when we get to see more athletes out there (looking at you Shilese!)

dude, I feel the same! I was curious to see what she would do but she also still does her double-double so are the twisties an issue anymore? What do you miss from her old routines?
