I think this piece was their 2nd Grammy win. They're nominated for their 5th Grammy this year.

It was. Ben Bram, their arranger did the speech because the group was backstage rehearsing for their on stage piece.

They said in one of their interviews that this one was Avi’s baby. He brought it to the group and was involved in arranging it!

They won a singing contest, 3 Grammy, movie credits, soundtrack credits, a walk of fame star, sold out concerts, loving family, great friendships. Shawn Stockman, the original pentaholic, once told Mitch that he was bullied by people in school, and he was showing everyone on national TV what his voice could do, so HAHA. Shawn also said that Mitch had one of the prettiest voices he'd ever heard. This was after Mitch admitted to being bullied about his voice. He has the voice of an angel.

All of the Pentatonix have very extended vocal ranges. Avi reaches the low "contra bass range" and Mitch has the "counter tenor" range. On the Kiss from a Rose, Scott demonstrates baritone to tenor, and Kirstin mid to high soprano. Very rare vocal talents.
