For me personally, Kyle never came across as JUST the lovable goof. I think in his Meet The Alters Video, he talked a bit about how his role as protector came to be. Ever since learning that, I've had a great deal of respect for him, cause none of us would've ever been able to tell from a few videos what tremendous amounts of responsibility he had to take on, and what challenges he surely had to face. I've always remembered him as a sweet goofball, but never without the respect for what he was and what he stood for.

We empathize with the "missing who we were" thing. Our partner proposed to one of the alters from well before we were diagnosed. That part of us either fusing or going dormant literally was part of the reason we even sought psychiatric help in the first place. We still shed tears over the fact that we don't feel that same level of connection or affection that we allegedly used to show. We just don't remember it, and it doesn't feel like anyone who primarily is out these days. It breaks our heart sometimes. And we know it's hard on our partner. Anyway, sorry for the ramble. All that to say, we totally understand that bittersweet feeling. It's wild to see how far you've come re: production and healing. Sending healing, good vibes, and lots of love. All the very best. -Valda

When I think of Kyle, I think of him as a protective older brother that radiates warmth and safety. The person you search for in a crowded room, or at a complicated family get-together. The person that you could text or call at anytime, or the person that would give you that big bear hug after a difficult experience. The brother that would still joke and mess with you, but never anywhere near that "too much" boundary. The person that could always read you and know what you needed and never made you feel like you were in debt to them or made you feel like you had to mask for comfort. Someone filled with so much love, courage, and compassion. As a neurodivergent person who has experienced trauma and struggles with uncertainty, Kyle is what I would call a "Constant". For me, that means security and safety, unconditional love, peace. His energy, now a part of Kya, is safe and genuine. Seeing Kyle just always made me feel like I was in a protected space. I totally forgot about the banana story! I guess I don't associate that with him, really, just the safe protector ❤🩵🧡

I want you to know that as our primary protector, Kyle was my role model. I looked up to him as what I wanted to be, because I started out similar to the feeling that you and Kyle have described. I was upset that I had to be this way, but you helped me grow into the protector I am today. I never had anyone in my life to look up to until we found your channel. This is getting super f’ing sappy but I just wanted to tell you, thank you, you helped me and continue to help me so much. Can’t wait to watch your next gaming live stream, I really like those. -Tyler

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the information you put out for DID. When I had first met my love she had just gotten diagnosed with DID and she had to learn about it and same with me. A bunch of your videos came in handy to help us both and all I can say now is THANK YOU SO MUCH. I treasure her with all my heart and all I wanna do is be there for her and love her every day. She is the love of my life and I just wanna keep supporting her and making her happy every single day. It’s all thanks to the videos you’ve put out. Thank you again.

Kyle was SOOOOOOO much more than a goofball to me. Yes, his jovial humor allowed cracks to form in my wall of depression, but the way he (you) made me feel safe, that I would be ok, and that I was not alone will forever be a priceless part of my life that I could never thank yall enough. I am a single personality and an only child (no siblings), and when I lost my Mom in 2019, I spiraled into what turned out to be the darkest days of my life and Kyle (you) was there for me. Never in a million years would I have guessed I would have been so emotionally unstable. Your videos gave me something to look forward to when I thought there was nothing else to look forward to. I have since lost my Dad six months ago now, and I am trying my best not to go back to that place I was in 2019 and again, who shows up in today's video.....Kyle (you)! I feel like it was a reminder to keep believing that I will be ok and I will get through this.

"It looks like it was filmed on a toaster" made me 😂. We loved you even when you filmed on a toaster! And seeing you react just brought the Kyle part if you out so much more and it was so nice to see. Kyle was funny and sweet and also incredibly strong and important. Love you, Kya, and all of your (past and current) parts. 💜

Kya, I can't thank you and the system enough for sharing your story. Watching Kyle's videos has always been such a comfort to me; he truly is a selfless, kind soul that is such a breath of fresh air. I know you've struggled with the fusion, but it's honestly so beautiful to see Kyle merge with the person he loved the most. Kyle and Nin were beautiful individuals, and Kya is such an amazing representation of the love they held. I know Kyle and Nin are still there, those memories are something you'll hold onto forever as the system continues to grow and heal. Who you were and who you are is a beauty this world can't begin to put into words. Thank you so much for giving us all a chance to see both sides. To see that suffering does not define us, and pain does not have the power to sculpt us into monsters. To Kyle, thank you for doing an impossible job when no one asked you to. Thank you for protecting Chloe even if you didn't feel like you had a choice. You were so strong. And Kya, you continue to hold Kyle's strength every day. Kyle and Nin together ARE OP as fuck, and I know you, and all the memories you hold, will continue to heal. You have fought so hard, babes. You deserve happiness. To the system, I'm so sorry for the trauma I can't even begin to comprehend. You are strong. You are powerful. You didn't come this far JUST to come this far. You have beautiful memories just around the corner. I hope you all find all the happiness in this world. Thank you so much. For giving all of us a chance to lay down our own trauma, and remind us that we aren't out here fighting alone. ❤

sponsorship!! proud of you guys! take that bag!! you deserve it! and also this video format of reacting to old stuff of yours could really be interesting and maybe a bit less heavy to produce for you, maybe for weeks in which life is a bit worse in general. i think hearing about your experience of what you were thinking during a past video or just your thoughts about things you did in the past is really nice to see and can honestly be so useful to hear. and i wanna also say that at least for me personally kyle was never just a goofball or a funny’s guy. i’ve always seen in him that kind of strength and kindness and determination that, based on my experiences, you only develop when you go through stuff. i’ve always thought of kyle as reliable and kind of an anchor for what i imagined to be everyone in your system. while i don’t and can not know of the things he did inside or for specific alters, i could feel the weight of his role and i could perceive how trusted and fundamental for you guys he was. i hope you all in the system know that kyle was very appreciated and that you, kya, are too, even if we will never know all the details of all the things you have done for the system and all the things you sacrificed or all the time you were there for others in the system. you are appreciated and seen as a strong and trust worthy individual, not just a funny random person (even tho you are that too). love your videos by the way!

okay hi my name is charlie and i am the primary protector of my system. i really appreciated the last little bit recognizing kyle. my role and responsibilities are a touch different to what kyles were, but i think one thing can be said for almost every primary protector ive ever met. it takes a lot of work and courage to take what happened and remain kind. it takes even more to step up and continue to face difficult things for the sake of others. i dont think that wording is the greatest but you get my point hopefully. thank you

okay so you have DID right?? It’s okay if you don’t want to answer but I am just so curious oh my god. Okay so there are obviously multiple alters in one body, and Kya mentioned in the video (and also in some other video’s) the “headspace”. Now what does that look like? Does it look like anything or is it more something abstract like- it’s there, but it also isn’t there. Just like- I guess my question is: where do all the alters chill when they aren’t fronting?

i got so excited when the sponsor segment came up, i'm so glad to see you guys are getting that support again. Kyle was absolutely an integral part of the system, just as every alter is. we will never know everything he has done for you guys and likely for others as well but from everything you have shared, he did an immense amount of work that deserves to be praised. our Primary Protector is very well loved by many in our system and well respected by most. he also has a big job and lots of tasks daily from our main Gatekeeper and he's always running around and helping everyone out. he got to front and talk to one of our irl friends who is also a system and talk about his job and responsibilities and he said that was very helpful and validating. I hope you know that your role now is just as important and valuable as Kyle's was. you are an amazing, strong, assertive and capable Host and your system is lucky to have you. -Clove (Sylvar System)

I remember feeling SO much respect and love for Kyle. I remember relating to him regarding dysphoria and I remember it being extremely validiting that he felt it in the same way I do because in a way he wasn't a trans man in the traditional sense. He was a guy that sometimes lived life in a feminine body. So he understood what I felt despite me being born in it and him not. anyway, i just wanted to say that his perspective of being a guy alter in a fem body was really validating to see as a trans man thank you Kyle for everything you did, and thank you Kya for keeping his memory alive through you we love you ❤
