I noticed that too. I thought it was because most other times I've seen her she was warning the viewers not to mess with her system, while in this video the part where she started smiling was at Soren's impression of her. I don't think she trusts the viewers much (sadly with good reason) but it's good to see that she does like the alters around her and, I think, trusts them. I doubt we would have seen her more gentle side otherwise.

for real. some of the things that stuck with me the most from this channel have come from her, as a trauma survivor myself (people often said i'm scary because i'm a huge maths nerd and look serious all the time). "i'm bitter, but not vindictive" is a principle to go by! i'm allowed to be sad for myself, not to pity myself.

You’re definitely one of my favourites, Jade! As an autistic person, it’s so refreshing to see someone else (who isn’t necessarily autistic) say what they mean, mean what they say and make no apologies for it 🫶🏻

I was surprised when she said she wasn’t sure she was a fan favorite. She is very likable. Sure she’s a little harsh and straight forward. But she is not rude and most importantly (to me) her protectiveness of her system is so clear and it’s hard to not like her for it.

I think she likely feels that because she isn’t a pushover / people pleaser; it makes her inherently unlikable, but in reality it only makes her unlikable to those who would want to take advantage of the system in the first place. The vast majority of people don’t find the ability to firmly state your boundaries and stick to them off putting, especially not when it’s done in such an eloquent and polite way.

i’ve been a fan since chloe was the host and i remember both jade and sally from those days. i think those two are probably the longest to exist as a single alter that are public (although all prior alters all still exist, when they fuse they’re still there just different)

my SO was hearing this exactly video, but didn't watch when alters introduced themselves. When that part was over he asked 'which ones were her alters'? ;) "All of them" surprised him a bit. There was also video with some Little one (i think it is private or gone now) and they sounded entirely different.

I've always known that each alter is their own distinct entity but I've never been able to see it as clearly as that introduction montage at the beginning. Hearing them each say hello in their own voices one after another really made everyone stand out.

Jade has always spoke to me the most. Our own gatekeeper has been inspired by her blunt, logical and careful protection as she grew up. We are autistic (as we saw in other comments by others) and bluntness, truthfulness always feels safe for us!

i think we also admire Jade so much because we see how important her role is for the system. She’s strong and will always say what needs to be said and won’t hold back - a few traits a lot of us wish we had and absolutely admire Jade for ❤

It's very interesting to see the clips from the older videos and remembering the journey of the system. The confidence increase from Chloe to Nin to Kya to Soren is amazing to see. Jade seems a lot more confortable and relaxed. I can't even begin to imagine how stressful her job truly is, but it's definitely good to see her around. I'll never forget the quite agressive "You are valid" she told us in a video I don't even remember how long ago. She can sound quite harsh, yet be nice at the same time. I can see why she's a fan favourite, and I love her too.

I (a singlet haha) work in the mental health field and watching DissociaDID has taught me how to be a better caretaker for individuals with DID. I have had a few patients with it throughout the years and I feel like without the knowledge I've gained here, I would have not been able to help them and work with their systems. ❤

TIL: word 'singlet' for people that don't have DID ;) In programing there is word "singleton" which (via wiki): "In software engineering, the singleton pattern is a software design pattern that restricts the instantiation of a class to a singular instance."

Something I find really special about you and those with DID is how aware you are of yourselves and your personalities and your thought processes. I missed Sally!! glad to know she's doing ok and that we'll see her again, and also I feel like Jade was dissapointed in a sense of "so you're goofing around and you are talking about me :/" and then she got a little embarrased seing that we all love her and that Soren was just telling good (and the truth at that!) things about her

I havent seen anyone mention the compilation of everyone introducing themselves at the beginning 😭 I got so emotional just watching it and seeing everyone again. Ive been here since Chloe was the host so its been a long and wild ride. I love getting to see everyone grow and develop

Jade to me it's like that middle school teacher who is very strict and you fear (and respect) when you are young but as an adult you realize how much they thought you and how they were never scary and respect them even more.

From what I've seen through your videos, each fusion and resulting host seems even more capable and stronger than the last. Its very clear that you guys are making a lot of progress on the road to recovery!

1. I *need* Jade to understand just how fantastic she is. Not only does she shoulder her role within the system so so well (as far as we can see obviously) but she is also just, very interesting as a person. Whilst I will never meet her, or any of you, she is the one I think i would like to meed the most. She is feirce and protective, direct and stern, but still she seems so kind. And I dont know, that just is such an interesting combination of traits that makes her seem fantastic to talk with. 2. Im so glad youre back. Ive been here since Chloe (wait is that the right spelling? Ah, who knows) was the host, and seeing how the system has changed over the years, has grown and fought and healed, has been everything from beautiful to heartbreaking. I will always root for you, you deserve good things. You deserve peace ❤️

The thing with Jade is that she cares. That's why I admire her! She was always so stern and tough probably because of the responsibility to be aware of so many traumas. I was so surprised to hear her laugh in this video and I made me really happy! I discovered you guy's channel a good few years back now when you had just started out and after a while of not seeing your videos I've been seeing you all popping up on my suggested again; seeing the huge growth I just wanted to say what you guys are doing is so so honourable and important and you should all be so proud of what you've accomplished in spite of the difficulty, because as someone who was introduced to the disorder from your channel I have learned so much and I am sure I am not the only one. Hugely respect what you are doing, you deserve the world for the commitment you have to helping others with or without DID understand the disorder so that it is more healthily dealt with in future, and most importantly its lovely to meet the new alters and see the unique strengths they have. Soren as a result of so many fusions, how does memory work? Do you remember the experiences of the alters that came before clearly or mostly just the experiences of the most recent alters that fused. Like how much does Soren remember and recollect of Chloe’s experiences or Nina’s? Do their experiences feel personal to you? Or do they feel like a past alters experiences. I hope my question makes sense

I'm almost positive that Soren's sister holds a lot more of the traumatic stuff than Soren does, given she's not appeared yet nor named on the channel. It would make sense, also since Mara was an alter who had a lot of feminine traits.

I've been following this channel since it more or less started with Chloe, and honestly what a journey its been. I sort of formed a relationship with everyone, this become my comfort channel and the videos always gave me something to look forward to. I’ve been following your system since its beginning days of the channel and it’s been wonderful to see you back on at the moment. And seeing all of the growth and change that has occurred since Chloe was the host and just exploring and learning DID. I am very sad that your last fusion was interrupted but I am glad you are all able to process what has happened. I do remember how scary the first fusion was for the system. And the eye makeup is absolutely gorgeous today!

to Jade: ive strugled a lot with low self esteem and depresion for a lot of years, and in one of your old videos you look directly into the camera and tell me that i matter and that i am loved. whenever im having a bad day i find this video, and your words pick me up just enough to make it through. you might not look at yourself as a favorite, but you have helped a lot of people get through though times. thank you for being who you are.

I have been following then DissociaDID proyect since 2020 and Jade! you are a fan favorite! i really love to see and hear you, especially knowing how valuable your role is for the system and channel. For someone like me who is interested to learn about DID and mental health, someone being clear and direct about it is far the best! Also welcome Soren! I can’t believe it’s been about 5 years since I started watching this channel! Time is wild! Anyways, I think it’s lovely to meet all of you 🙂❤️ Even though there’s been so many changes to hosts, roles, alters, etc, it’s comforting to see familiar faces like Jade and Sally, who are absolutely badass. I've been watching this channel for a couple of years now just from curiousity as a teenager and am now in my early adult years and seeing y'alls system grow and seeing how far you have all come is such a HUGE accomplishment and so so so SO powerful and I really hope you know just how amazing and strong you all are! I personally dont have DID but my partner does and let me just say, the amount of work/effort and time just to put into healing/coping/living with trauma that my partner goes through just to exist, is genuinely insane and I have so much respect for them and for yall as well. ❤️ Edit: I also say my partner because I only date one person in their system. But they ALL go through so much hell just to exist in the world.
