@@angelvalencia5230 Shark attack which is the first day and all they times you get fucked up for stupid stuff that doesn't even make since, also all the ruck marches those were miserable. Just like his video above it doesn't show any of the ftx which for us it rained the whole time. It cuts out the infantry training which was black and gold phase. Those weren't too bad but they still sucked haha oh yeah 30th AG was the most miserable two weeks of my life.

My group got lost in the woods and the troop couldn’t have chow because they had to find us. 😂😂

@@jacobclark9239 Theres many good videos on youtube that would show you, it is simple. I jump up and grab as high as I can, then wrap my right leg around the rope and then step with my left foot onto my right foot, pinching part of the rope inbetween

not sure if you are planning on enlisting, but if you are, all you have to do to make your life 10x easier, run, run everyday for atleast 5 miles, doesnt matter how long it takes you to complete it, just complete 5 miles... maybe not everyday but pretty frequently

Basic training actually seems a bit fun, climbing stuff, walking over barrels, rolling around in mud...

I like how they’re like “stop giving up on yourself” like they might be yelling all the time but at least they’re encouraging

(RE: grenade range) "there is no pass or fail", oh there is a fail, I can assure you. I failed grenade range the first time because I was a nerd who never threw anything "like a football" in his life. I spent weeks agonizing about getting recycled over it and ending up as a holdover at 30th AG. Got dropped into another cycle's grenade course and honestly don't think I threw it any better then, but they passed me...

Well, there are videos out there of actual training but if you see some parts missing or anything like that, that is because those are moments where people may find extremely offensive. for example, there was this situation where PETA was rallying against the marines because they taught them how to kill an animal, and drink its blood if they can't find a clean water source.

Dang we just watched my dad's basic training VHS tape from 1995 and it was so cool to see yours because it shows all the new things they have to help train the troops and get them ready for the military

For anyone going Infantry leaving for FT. Benning...this is exactly what you will be doing. Just remember it’s only as hard as you make it. Just think to yourself 90% mental 10% physical. Know what you’re going there to do and always keep in mind what your goals are. It’s also a good idea to find a battle or a group of battle buddies that you can talk to if you’re having trouble. Also don’t be afraid to speak to the preacher on The Lords Day. Things will be rough on the aspect of being homesick, missing your families, but you’ll be proud of yourself knowing that you pushed yourself through it and endured the suck. Just remember how many men and women have been where you’re going and did what you’re about to do. You got it! Good Luck!

Its called relaxin Jackson for a reason. When you get there you will understand. Just have self motivation and get letters sent to you thats what kept me going and made it so easy for me.

It’s funny, when I reenlist, I’m actually gonna have to repeat BCT because of my break in service. Lol I’m actually kinda looking forward to doing it again. It’s gonna be a great chance to brush up on the basics and set myself up for success.

Hey Matt, I'm really nervous for basic training (I leave on August 6th for Fort Leonard Wood) and I'm really out of shape and just generally nervous. You've made almost all of my nervousness go away, now my only worries are getting in shape while I'm there and missing my family. Thank you so much for all the work you do! Best Army KZreadr hands down! Btw, I'm a 74D (CBRN Specialist) so I'm getting ready for the gas chamber quite a few times!

I’m 14 and I know gun safety swell. I live in Vermont, more of the countryside of the state, and my bloodline has been in the military since ww2 or maybe ww1, so yea, it’s funny seeing people who have never held one

Nice reacting, have you this training?? I'm from Denmark, and 2 people from my country was in this training, and maid it first and second-place of a long long term, and one of the guy is training buisness this day!! Proud to be a dane.

I did Army Basic in 1990 at Ft Sill Oklahoma, it was a lot harder 30 years ago 😂 Thank you for your service 🇺🇸
