Hi, I have a question about your merch, if I want to get the hoodie, for it to be oversized, should I get my size, or size up? ignore the really weird grammar in that. Also, I saw in one of your videos you said you couldn't find The L Word anywhere, I found it on crave or prime video, I dont remember which. I'm pretty sure it was crave. To me, Dani and Jamie from Bly manor is the best wlw representation i've ever seen in a show, i'm surprised y'all didn't put the kiss higher! Ironically, the kiss from The Watermelon Woman (which was a truly awful kiss, I agree) is from a film starring and directed by actual lesbians. The Black woman in the kissing couple is also the director, Cheryl Dunye, and the white woman is lesbian movie actress Guinevere Turner (best known for the film Go Fish). This was only Guinevere Turner's second film role. I remember seeing this film at an LGBTQ film festival after it came out many, many years ago, around 1996 or 1997.

Guinevere Turner is also a film director and screenwriter, in fact she actually wrote "Go Fish" amongst others. And she acted in several episodes of The L Word as Gabby Deveaux (and wrote 3 of them). Edited because I can't spell today lol

I find the Haunting has a lot better scenes, than this one. It was probably shot at the very beginning, because at other scenes I found them to be a lot less awkward. You guys should also include Genleman Jack and Vigil in the next one. Suranne Jones' portrayal of lesbians is legendary well.

Putting the haunting one there feels like a crime lol. It’s definitely more than that for me or maybe it’s just bc I have see the show

Also y’all should really watch Atypical and The Haunting of Bly Manor i promise you those scenes are a lot better once you have all the build up and sexual tension (atypical took two seasons before they got together but it was SO WORTH IT)

9:04, I was literally thinking about this scene earlier today while sick at work, because I wanted to watch it so bad. It's such a perfect and sweet sick day flick. 10:08, It was directed by a straight man, but honestly this is one of the few times I don't mind a cishet man telling a wlw story. The whole premise of the movie is about love at first sight when you think you're madly in love with someone else (an idea he had after meeting his future wife). Somewhere down the pipe line, they decided on making it a queer romance; and I think it shows, because the movie is so sweet and their attraction/chemistry is never fetishized or hypersexual, it's just love and I appreciate that the movie prioritized that above all else.

I agree! I hate it when shows end right after the main plot is concluded which for Feel Good, was Mae deciding to finally come to terms of what happened to her as a teenager and to move toward the future which the future was being with George. Mae is not magically better. She has to actually do the actions and I would love a third season of them being a healthy couple and Mae working on herself.

Some more films: The Happiest Season, Disobedience, Jennifer’s Body, Lost and Delirious, Gia, Foxfire, and The Runaways

Same for Ammonite - take into account the time period of the film and the taboo of being gay and their kiss makes more sense; and would get a higher rating.

Without doubt the best love/kissing scenes are in a Swedish film called Kiss Me or Kyss Myg…(sub titles in English hard to find …but it is beautiful anyway!!)…plse watch!!…. The World to Come … was heartbreakingly beautiful… and that kiss was on a higher level than you allowed for….because they had no words for what they felt or wanted then😣😣….and finally Desert Hearts (as others have said)… was so far ahead of its time… and so sympathetic and real….it would be interesting to see another video where you take on other suggestions and rate them too 👍🙏
