I think Mamamoo is the most important group of korean industry. They're more than the massive numbers. I'm not saying that the other groups was not unconfortable about those crazy standards, but Mamamoo was the one with courage enough to spit out. Not just about the beauty standards, about the derespect with the rookies, the double standards about female and male groups, even that crazy mania of making a big deal about their relationship status. They are really honest, that's why even that i love other groups music i stan a Moomoo because of their courage and personality. The more you know the girls, more you fall for them.

Funnily enough Moonbyul actually did end up making her own KZread channel named Moonbyul2da. After joking about it for so long it became real.

Solar did have her musical debut last year with the musical Mata Hari and she was the main lead too. That helped her vocals to improve even more.

Truly one of the most important girl groups ever. Im not a huge fan of their sound, but I will always respect them for their individuality and check out their new releases. Cannot top their live vocals though. Mamamoo must be protected at all costs.

I will NEVER understand how someone can call Hwasa ugly. How??? Look at her, she’s stunning! I love Mamamoo because they are very authentic and unique. They are the vocal queens of kpop but I think they are the Queens of Queens 💜 Btw, Lex, there’s a version of this guide only for the group where they share infos about the music, the accomplishments and etc.

Can I ask the group guide’s link? Is this another Purple Hawke? ‘Cuz I remember it’s supposed to have a third part for the whole group before s/he took the channel down, I just don’t know if she managed to finish it before that.

Fun fact all 4 of Mamamoo have opened their KZread channels and Solar, Moonbyul and Wheein follow a sched on releasing contents. Hwasa still yet to update her KZread channel.but she release special videos on her channel. All 4 of them are successful and well respected Soloists in S. Korea ☺️

I hope you get a chance to see them during their current US Tour, hearing and feeling them live is the peak experience. I thought I knew what to expect from listening to a fair bit of their music, but I was still shook. Seen quite a handful of kpop acts, but Mamamoo truly is like no other - the way they command the stage and make it their playground is really very unique to them.

You need to check out their solo works, if you are going to their concert! Or you will miss out a lot. Solar: "spit it out" and "honey" Moonbyul: "eclipse" and "lunatic" Wheein: "watercolor" and "make me happy" Hwasa: "twit" and "Maria"

I lover your reactions to them. It is definitely worth watching the Moo YT guide as well. It gives information about the individuals since 2019 and also has more straight forward info about the group as a whole. Resonance originally intended a part 3 focusing on the group but it never happened.

Mamamoo is really the best girl group in kpop for me. Mamamoo is not my first bias in kpop but when I heard about them they instantly got me. I fall in love so fast. I'll will never got tired listening to them.❤❤❤ thanks for reacting to them

Well this is the best Mamamoo guide out here but I would like to update you a little bit since this is a bit outdated. 1. Each and every members of Mamamoo now have a youtube channel and their contents are very diverse and interesting. 2. Moonbyul has grown so much as vocalist. She won a vocal competition and make the judges cry because of her performance. She sing in collabs, OST, and concerts,etc I recommend you react to her solo works since they are so good: Eclipse, Absence, CITT, and Moonbyul's performance Refuge (her vocal is insane in that one). 3. Solar and Moonbyul have a sub unit and they realised an Album "Act 1 Scene 1" not long ago 4. Every mamamoo know how to play at least one 1 ínstrument. 5.all mamamoo members have successful solo career. 6. Moonbyul harem has grown a lot in size. Every Girl groups/Female Soloists that appear in Moonbyul's Radio Show - Studio Moonnight decided to flirt with her (like really flirty)

Caveat to #6: Moonbyul has apparently kicked them all to the curb for Solar. They even went on a second honeymoon, I mean vacation, to Dubai. For context, Dubai is where Solar and Eric Nam went for the TV show, We Got Married, which showed them in a fake relationship. I understand some people don't actually get implications, but for those who do, the symbolism is unmistakable. And if you are curious about the first honeymoon, watch the MoonSun episode of Battle Trip, where they went to Hong Kong together.

Each one of these girls were dismissed from auditions. Hwasa is THE one the press goes after too. When you are on the nightly news just for something you are wearing,.... seriously!!! Hwasa is possibly one of THE most impressive women on earth. All she has to do is throw a look at a camera and she is already the boss of the room. And then there's her singing and her dancing. But her presence alone is way more woman that anyone would ever want. I LOVE her,... presence. And her personality.

I'm in like 10 fandoms and let me tell you this guide is the best one I've ever seen from any fandom

I don't know if you're into shipping, but Moonbyul and Yongsun is shipped together by the fandom and is one of the biggest ships out there. Their ship name is called MoonSun because of their names. I think it's pretty cool. It's like they're meant to be together. I firmly believe that they are each other's soul mates, platonic or not. 🫶🏼

As it has some additional information and a timeline of group history. So it's worth watching. I believe Wheein is 5'3" or so. But the whole group is very close in height. They made a song about their height differences called 1 CM. It's pretty good. Hwasa covering the Billie Eilish song is actually a duet with Kei from Lovelyz during the Queendom competition. It's really good. The whole competition is filled with fantastic performances. Definitely worth a watch if you can fit it into your schedule.

Overall i love this group because they are so different and unique. I know its one of the groups with the most difficult choice of choosing a bias. You might choose one then it changes again and again. I bet majority are just OT4 lol. But theres a chance on staying with one. Maybe. 😂 anyway i did choose Solar as mine because of some other videos i have seen that made me lean in to her more. But not gonna lie, the other members stories do hit the heart. I can relate to them. Overall, all members fight for something and thats why i love this group. They make their choices not let others do it for them. 💚💚💚

Korean Beauty Standards(KBS), not "Kpop" specifically. Tend to be toxic and VERY unhealthy... Not to mention are very unrealistic. And If you want to see Mama Bear(Solar) get riled up, there is one interview(don't remember if it was part of one showed), where Solar got VERY MAD and went after people critizing Hwasa.

Tbh moonbyul sings way better than the 1 clip shown in this guide now. Its such an amazing guide but my only criticism is how long it spends on women being atracted to byul instead of a couple more clips of her vocals. Aside from that its such a great guide though 👏

@anonygent I mean, dark side of the moon had come out already, which has a few songs she sings in (they even used absence in the beginning) and the ten nights live performance. Plus she had done some great covers like trying to say goodbye by this point i believe. Idk I love the purple hawke guide its just the 1 thing I wish was slightly different is all!

@@KA-ei5tq All opinions are valid opinions, and my only complaint is that PH didn't ever do the promised part 3 about the group, but I think Moonbyul's vocals took a major step up for the singing competition. Whoever her vocal coach was during that time should come out and take a bow.

Glad you're doing the ORIGINAL one from Purple Hawke for knowing Mamamoo members. Even though there will be some people saying "oh it's not update", "there's newer ones" etc etc, still.. we have to gives credit to Purple Hawke for making these Guides for new Moomoos. It's okay to have newer version, but please do it your own style not copycat and gets recommend or credits for it.
