Thing about Kamen Riders is, unlike Super Sentai (Power Rangers), they tend to fight together AND AGAINST each other at the drop of a hat... well, as far as Heisei and Reiwa era goes.

Of the three Kamen Rider tv-series that this video mentions, Zero-One has the most complete plot. It's a pity that Saber's content is really weak.

I just finished rewatching Geats along with my friend who is new to Kamen Rider, and now he is interested in exploring the genre of Tokusatsu in general. Now I am trying to get him into Sentai.

I think Geats is actually a bad entry point since it's too good. You can't introduce someone through the best series because after that every other one will pale in comparison. Like, my first KR was Ryuki. Greats is like Ryuki on steroids but if you look at it from the other direction, going from Geats to Ryuki will seem like a downgrade. After watching Ryuki I went to Kuuga and watched chronologically, caught up as Gaim was starting. Kuuga is a good, standard series and if you start there, you will notice the ups and downs. There's never been several bad seasons in a row so it won't bother you as much if you watch a worse one because you can hope for the next one to be better.

Little bit of something that gets lost in translation: Kamen Rider Vulcans animal being a wolf is based on something in Japanese Language. While we westernes tend to use "Bulls" as a slang term for police-officers people in Japan instead made their slang-term for them "Wolfs". So yeah, you can guess what Vulcans profession outside of being a super hero is.

The Reiwa era for both Sentai and KR is when things really gets *WILD* And I hope you guys can cover KR Black Sun, which is a modern reboot of KR Black which came out a couple years ago.

Personally, I think Zero-One is one of the better jumping-on points for newcomers. Not only is it easily accessible (free on Tubi), it has an amazing world and characters and some of the best henshin sequences in the franchise. It has its downs but I think they're easily bypassed for newcomers. Geats is a similar state but it's not nearly as beginner-friendly in conparison due to the divisive main character and atittude the show has concerning its comedic elements. It's a lot more *dramatique*. Revice is a great show that gets overhated, it was a surprisingly fun watch.

If you watch Saber, when you finish, watch the Super Hero Senki movie (I think that was the name). It is a Super Sentai crossover movie with Kamen Rider, and the timeframe is during Saber so that is the main group for it. Also, during Saber there is a crossover episode with Zenkaiger (a Super Sentai series). I hope whatever you fellas start with, you enjoy!

Oh cool, its KR Eden, that movie had A LOT of MGR related memes, cuz the bad guys there uses nanotech so...... Also as for KR Metsuboujinrai, its like what Sigma was doing in RVB. Saber: Ahhhh Saber, love it or hate it. Its a cool series about swords, books, and friendship. First up is Touma, novelist and owner of a bookstore. Aaaand its Lion Ecclair Boi Rentaro. Aaand you just saw his master died. Ooooh, Kento's turn, his is about Aladdin i think, and his movie final form is about the stories of Arabia, like The 40 Thieves and the like. Oh cool, one of the best dads in the Reiwa Era, KR Buster. Believe it or not, he has a prequel manga about how he became Buster. Ah its that cracker ninja, but at least he has some development. Ah its the former Kenzan. Eyyyy Daishinji! And yeah, your eyes arent deceiving you, his WonderRideBook is literally a Hansel and Gretel themed book. Oh its Calibur, the Seiken with the most users, even Kento uses it. And it landed with Sofia as the current user. Oh cool, its Yuri. And yes, his base form is a Sword before he gets the XSwordsman WRB. And he's mopping the floor with them as a sword. Aaaaand Sabela enters, she slays her debut. Aaand her brother comes in, think Aquaman and Star Platinum combined. ahh yes, Reika's participation in Girls Remix. Oh and she and Ryoga's TTFC Special. Oh boy, is Bacht! Yep, the Shhhhh! thing is lit. And yeah unfortunately, just lile Ankouken Kurayami, Moumeiken Kyomou has multiple users. Aaaand here comes the wildest Saber villain. Ahhhh Alternate Tassel. A recolor and retool of KR Lupin from Drive. Aaaand here we go, the other Kyomou users. Revice: Cant wait for you to do the rest of Revice. That's just a taste. Also its all about demons, contracts and stamps. And yeah the theme is lit You're almost there, you just need to go through Geats and some current stuffs in Gotchard. Keep it up

I'd say if you are gonna start anywhere. Start with the Neo Heisei era starting 2009. Kamen Rider W, OOOs and Fourze act as a trilogy that serve as a good intro to the series with some of the most fun and deep stories.

if u wanna start with KR you could try the standalone films first. Shin Kamen Rider is a pretty solid reimagining of the 1971 KR Show and while it's not an overall representation of the franchise, it's very much heavily-influenced by the different shows from KR since its release

How Would You Fix The Kamen Rider Franchise ? I'm a big saber fan but before starting saber, please note that the first arc (first 15 ep) is the weakest part of the show and it gets alot better so please keep an open mind going in

The first guy has a thing. Don't know his full story but Kamen Rider Zero One has a gimmick of access card devices and in order to use them, they need to be authorised. Vulcan's first henshin, he wasn't authorised I believe so he took a henshin device and forced the card device open to transform hence you seeing him struggling to open the device. Dunno if the company finally got him authorised but it's become a habit to him to *force* the card open. Kamen Rider Saber don't uses cards, That's a storybook. Books based on animals, mythical animals and story tales. Aka, one of Saber's combos uses books based on a dragon, an eagle and the story Journey to the west.
