The reason why the Zenkaigers (rangers that look like robots and the white one) are like that is because it was the 45 anniversary season of sentai. The one in white is a reimagined version of the first red ranger from the 70s and his teammates are modeled after different mecha/megazords.

the reason why Zenkaigers are all robots is because they have to limit the number of people on film due to the situation of covid could affect the entire film production. Donbrothers and Zenkaiger use Voice actors and CGI rangers are ways for the studio to combat against the pandemic.

So the fun fact about Gokai Christmas: This was during the episode of Gokaiger that served as a tribute to Battle Fever J, but Gai obviously doesn't have a counterpart on the team. The coloration of the suit, plus the yellow emblem of the Gokaiger symbol instead of it's usual silver, possibly makes it a nod to the flag of Portugal, which brought the holiday to Japan.

Fun fact, Kirin Ranger actor had a twins which play as Blue Beetle in B-Figther 😂 Goranger, Sun Vulcan, Changeman, and Ohranger is the sentai with military-esque element on it, while Go Busters is basically special forces to keeping city in charge. Magna warrior in Bioman and X-1 Mask in Maskman is considered to be the Prototype of 6th ranger, with the Dragon ranger is the first one. And in Super Sentai, the veteran actor/actress were oftenly comeback as cameo/guest star/permanent role in some series, it event have play in Big Three Tokusatsu which is Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Super Sentai

Zyuoh Bird and ZyuOhtheworld are missing, plus the clip used for Kyuranger’s henshin doesn’t even include Houousoldier, (though he is included in the rollcall,) they include Noël’s transformations, (but specifically used non solo version, and only included Lupin X,) they skipped over Nada/Gaisoulg, didn’t include Takemichi from Kiramager, didn’t include Zenkai Red, and given the use of the promo clip for Donbrothers this compilation was clearly made prior to the introduction of Jin, and Don Murasame, and long before the final rollcall.

One interesting thing to note: Marvel Comic co-produced 3 sentai seasons: Battle Fever J, Denji Sentai Denjiman, and Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan. They worked together to produce a live-action Spider-man series, then were gonna create a Captain America series where he leads a team of heroes based on other countries. That evolved into Battle Fever J.

All Kamen rider transformations should be next

For Dairanger, each ranger has a specific type of kungfu they practice. Kirinranger/yellow uses drunken boxing, so the 'dancing' is standard drunken boxing footwork, and you can see the 'cup holding' hand position as well.

The sailor sisters in Kakuranger where a homage at sailor moon. The actor of Ninja Black Jiraya(Kane Kosugi) did not speak japanese, so his charakter was a Ninja from America. In Gekiranger, GekiBlue was played by Two actors. Manpei tagaki and Shinpai Tagaki who are twins. Also Rio and Mele are the villains in the show who have incredible Charaketr arks with the Rangfers and with each other.(I highly recomend watchting GekiRanger) In GoGoV are only 5 rangfers. the Titanium rangfer was pure american because they wanted a charakter for the Solar max Zord. And they are all Siblings. In MagiRanger the 5 main Rangers (red,yellow,blue,Pink and Green) are siblings: red being the Youngest and green the oldest. Magi Mother ist indeed the Mother of them, wolzard fire being the Father. MagiShine later Marries MagiBlue. In AbaRanger, Abarekiller is a pure villain. Only in movies he is a ally of The abarerangers. Akaranger was a charakter for a Anniversery. aka meaning red in japanese, he has all powers of all red rangers if i am not mistaken. Gokaiger was the 35 anniversary show. They can transform in all ranger teams before them.

Abarekiller joins the team around episode 48, towards the last episode, also dies at the end of the same episode. Also, kingranger isn't gold, he's black. And ninja white, megablack and gekiyellow were the leaders of their teams, not the red rangers.

If you enjoy this Kamen Rider transformation it's a little different especially heisei era and reiwa era there's a lot of form like super,rage form,final form and miracle form(only appear in movie)

Gokaiger was like the 35th anniversary season, so they had to earn the powers of all previous teams of rangers. It's my favorite Sentai series. Kyoryuger (the one with all the dancing) is also amazing, but there isn't 16 rangers. You'd have to watch the series to understand what's going on.

Shishi Red (gets an upgraded form in Shishi Red Orion) Ookami Blue Kajiki Yellow Chameleon Green Washi Pink Tenbin Gold Hebitsukai Silver (he gets a dark upgrade/alternate form as Hebitsukai Metal) Sasori Orange Oushi Black Koguma SkyBlue (is gone for several episodes after first appearance for plot reasons) Ryu Violet (gets permanent upgrade to Ryu Commander after initial appearance as the base form was incomplete) Houou Soldier I think they might really enjoy looking into Malshina's (the villainess from the last group) actress' prior body of work. Just make sure no good little children are around when doing so.

Time to wait for the Kamen Rider henshins now.

RIP Yellow Racer that recently passed away 3 days ago

In regard to Gokaiger, it was the 35th super sentai and being pirate theme they had the powers of the previous 34 sentai teams, hence the keys.

Would like to say that the video y'all watched actually skipped some rangers in Zyouhger, Ryusoulger, Zenkaiger, & Donbrothers unfortunately. But I'm glad you enjoyed the transformations. It's a fun ride.

Among my favorite roll calls, which were not shown are the early episodes of JAKQ, where before the team introduces themselves, a deck of Nintendo playing cards are seen scattering toward the enemy, toward the end of Dairanger, where the team does their roll call untransformed (making the Kirinranger one even more impressive,) and the Zenkaiger roll calls change every episode. As for the Punishment Sailor Sisters in Kakuranger, it was a one off episode, probably taking inspiration from Sailormoon. In the Ohranger movie, a child does reference Sailormoon toward the end. As for Gokai Christmas, the rest of the team changed into Battle Fever J, which aside from the season being a celebration of Super Sentai, added an extra flair for Christmas.

Bro been watching watching you since 2016 and been wanting to see y’all experience tokusatsu, legit loving watching y’all see what has been big in my life for the pass 8 years. Make sure C is there for the riders lol

56:52 This team is Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, and it's the 45th anniversary suits, every single ranger is a reference to the prior season, I guess you did kinda pick up on the leader Zenkaiser (the white one) as he is supposed to be a complete modernization of the first red ranger Akaranger, alongside him are Zyuran (Red), Gaon (Yellow), Magine (Pink) and Vroom (Blue), they all are robots and their ranger forms are directly based on prior mechs from the series, Zyuran is clearly Daizyujin from Zyuranger (or the original Megazord from MMPR), Gaon is Gaoking from Gaoranger (Wild Force Megazord), Magine is Magiking from Magiranger (Mystic Force Megazord) and Vroom is Daibouken from Boukenger (Operation Overdrive Megazord), the gold one is the 6th of the show, he is Twokaiser, his suit is almost 1-1 to the Gokaigers you saw prior which were the 35th anniversary show For 1:00:20 which is Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger, it's a parody show meant for the older fans of the franchise, it aired during Gokaiger and Gobusters and the whole thing about the team is they are made from otakus, the red one being a total sentai nerd, the yellow one being also a sentai fan while being a cosplayer too, and the blue one being a secret anime fan which also ends up becoming a sentai fan through the show, that's why it was more jokey

small fun facts, there is a grand total of 7 power ranger with no direct equivalent: they are the Titanium ranger: GogoV had only a 5 man team, but had an extra autonomous zord (the one called solarzord in the adaptation) to keep the 6th rangers tropes intact in the Lightspeed Rescue the 3 spirit rangers from Jungle fury: shark, bat and elephant are in fact american creation, and this explain the different suit. they as well are connected to secondary zords of the season and, less known due to their toy-exclusive apperarence, the 3 RPM Paleomax Rangers, connected to the 3 component of the paleomax megazord: mammoth (red and black), triceratops (light blue and black) and Trex (black and silver)

The last one is officially the Unofficial Sentai, Akibaranger. Basically it's a parody sentai. They are all about making fun of the cliches in the mainline sentai series. Better, basically the red one is us. The sentai/ranger fan who got the chance to become a members of imaginary sentai team. It's really good and funny it even got season 2. But both have just few episodes if I remember correctly 🤔

Some Fun Facts/Trivia about Super Sentai: - Battle Fever J was the first season to use a Mecha/Megazord - Denjiman was the first season to use a transforming mecha/megazord - Sun Vulcan was the first to use a combining mecha/megazord - Goggle V was the first season to have a three piece combining mecha/megazord - Dynaman was the first series to use spandex costumes - Gingaman was the last series to have 'Man' as a suffix in the name. - Haim Saban wanted to adapt Super Sentai in the early 80s and his first choice was Bioman. But he decided on Zyuranger in the 90s and the rest is history :D - Lord Zedd was an original creation of Power Rangers and was not present in Zyuranger. - The Titanium Ranger of Lightspeed Rescue has no sentai counterpart in Go Go V

For Kyoryuger there were only 10 rangers, the others you saw coming were replacements because prev ones died or temporary ones because they were too old to continue fighting like what happened to the old man, Deathryuger is a movie exclusive who was a monster and was defeated by the kyoryugers, in another movie the power was used once again but by a good person which isn't shown in this video :)

The very last one is actually a Super Sentai spoof show, but the creators of Super Sentai loved it and even had them cameo in one of the seasons lol

I’m not sure if somebody had already said this but in Kyoryuger the only had 10 rangers, the gentleman that morphed into the purple ranger he gave his power to a female and the last one that look like predator he is called Deathryuger.

I grew up watching a bunch of metal heroes and kamen rider and still love everything 35 years later. So nice to see not only modern tokusatsu being recognized in the US too!

I'm sure it's been said already but the Zenkaiger stuff (The one with the robots) is an anniversary season, so the robot suits when morphed are references to megazords! Red - Mighty Morphin' Dino Megazord Yellow - Wild Force Megazord Blue - Operation Overdrive Megazord Pink - Mystic Force Megazord If you look at the helmets and various design choices in the suits, you see it matches up pretty nicely to those actual megazords! White is based on the original Sentai Gorenger, the first one you saw cause of the cape, eyes, V on the chest, etc Gold is based on Gokaiger, the pirate one you said flicked the collar because it's the most popular season of Sentai ever. We knew it as Super Megaforce. The references don't even end there! Gold has power-ups based on Shinkenger/Samurai, Ohranger/Zeo & the Q-Rex from Time Force. White has a power-up that's him wearing the Dragonzord, THE Dragonzord. Then white & gold combine to make - I shit you not - the Q-Rex Dragonzord. A combo of both. THEN gold can go off and make his own pirate Q-Rex megazord while white can transform with red to make a megazord that's both the Dragonzord and the red Mighty Morphin' ranger. Zenkaiger is nutty.

The last one is an unofficial Sentai lmao

TimeFire had his debut as a kamen rider last week, and his transformation sequence paid homage to his sentai transformation

Fun fact: Zyuoh Eagle in Zyuohger actually gets at least 2 upgraded forms, though the changes weren't shown in this video, and he is able to swap between all of them at will. The ones I know of are Zyuoh Gorilla and Zyuoh Whale.

Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger is a gag series. I'm not going to elaborate on it anymore, because it's absolutely worth watching blind. Luckily it's not long. There's only 2 seasons of 12 episodes. It constantly makes references to Super Sentai, but anything important they actually explain to you. So it's pretty easy to watch even with minimal knowledge.

The last one, Akibaranger, is a parody made by Toei themselves, the creators of Super Sentai. They're making fun of their own property and its fans. The Red Ranger is a late 20s-year-old nerd who lives with his parents and spends his free time obsessing over Super Sentai trivia, collecting rare Super Sentai toys, etc. The Blue Ranger is a high school karate prodigy who has no time for nerd shit and reluctantly became a ranger, hence why she has no idea what she's doing. The Yellow Ranger is an airheaded cosplayer who's deep in the anime convention culture. Also the female villain is played by a former porn star.

The last one is an auto-parody Sentai, it's not "official" (lol) You guys should watch all Gokai Changes. Gokaiger is a pretty cool series, well, every Super Sentai series is awesome.

Akiba Ranger was a sitcom for Super Sentai, it is not part of the Super Sentai franchise but rather a tribute to Super Sentai Kyoryuger had 10 Rangers, but it seems more than 10 because the original Cyan and Silver are Spirits / Souls, in short they were already dead from the start of the series, the original Violet was too Old and was replaced by her Daugther, the original Silver died in one of the episodes and was replaced. Ninninger had 2 more Reds, the father and the grandfather of the Red was also in the show and made hensin and was part in a roll call in 1 or 2 episodes. Lupin Ranger and Patranger is one series, there are only 7 Rangers, but Silver and Gold (thus appears as 8 rangers) had a different morpher and allows him to switch between Patren X or Lupin X. Zyuohger had 2 more people, Zyuo The World which consists of 3 interchangeable Animal Spirit (Wolf, Aligator and Rhino), Zyouoh Bird also feature in the show. a 1 time Ranger Combination of Zyuoh Condor was a combination transformation of Zyouoh Eagle and Zyouoh Bird. and Zyuoh Eagle had 2 more transformations which is Zyuoh Gorilla and with a separate morpher he can Henshin to Zyuoh Whale. you will much appreciate the sentai if you could watch it. tho I won't guarantee that every season will please you.

I did see the look on your face though, and I'm assuming it was because of the background type during the transformation. In short: Each of the Gekirangers have a different fighting style in the show. I forgot what it was for the main three, but I do remember that GekiViolet's fighting style is Muay Thai (a type of kickboxing). Which is why he was shown in the middle of a boxing ring when he transformed if that's what your look was for.

12:25 - somehow, these compilations always use Liveman's first group henshin, instead of the individual ones. They made wireframe images and everything for them too. You missed out here. 16:53 - and they included _this_ for funsies, but didn't do the face actor Dairanger poses. You guys really missed out. (The joke with those three is that they were in a semi-bonkers live-action toku show prior to Kakuranger starting; one of them ended up also playing Tsuruhime in Kakuranger, so they did a tongue-in-cheek reunion bit in one episode. Kakuranger's the kind of show that could get away with it.)

About the music thing, my personal opinion is that Japan and America are two different places, so of different culture and that is the reason for having different music style, a marketing thing and localization stuff. As a person growing up with watching Super Sentai, I do feel weird with the modification on the transformation device and the transformation. The modification thing is understandable but still feel weird or strange to me some of the times. Here are some of the explanations on the video, the AkaRed, Gokai Sentai, and the Kikai Sentai are the series anniversary thing so that the AkaRed can use the power of all Red rangers, and the Gokai Sentai can use all the rangers' power and make some modification on the rangers, like merging the Gold and Silver ranger from Go-on ranger because of the number of people in the sentai, the Kikai Sentai is the something tribute to the past rangers, like the White one is similar to the Go-ranger and Big One, and the rest member are andrioids that they transform into appearance that are alike the past Sentai Robots. And about the Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger, it is more of a parody thing so that it is called as Hikonin (Unofficial) but this is still produced by the original company. A bit lengthy but thanks to the reaction and I am looking forward to watching your reaction to Ultraman.
