@@NguyenHuuTrung_ It is possible, because Dragon Knight was a decent success amongst the majority of tokusatsu fans. So another modern western adaptation of KR can work, as long as its not handled by Saban.

Dragon Knight aired on the CW Network but the station didn’t even air the last like two or three episodes on tv so the creators posted them on KZread and heck the show did win an daytime Emmy award. Unfortunately now most of the episodes on YT have been taken down

The reason the last few episodes were not aired was because of timeslot renewal issues, because of this they basically advertised the last few episodes as being on the network website. The series was actually considered a success and eventually adapting another series was discussed however it never really got off the ground sadly.

Fun fact: Kamen Rider Revice series (one with stamp) most rider form are base on Western Comic, Demons base on spiderman, Destream base on blue beetle, the Jack Revice(pitch black one) base on venom, Vail base on ant man and more.

revice was the 50th anniversary that is why you see so many throwbacks poses and stuff

I'd Say its hard to recommend a season of Kamen rider to start with since a lot can be down to what meshes with your style the best. The latest season is Geats which is the Fox rider, its very good but takes a step outside of the box for a standard season so using it as a basis to judge other season might throw you off. If you want my favorite Season it's Build, its very good and a more serious season if your more into that. It tackles some heavy topics though so just keep that in mind.

Revice: Ahhhh Thundergale form, most if not all fans were kinda against its design. Oh yeah Live/Evil is a bit like Revice, but it depends on who's in the driver seat. And yeah George Karizaki is a mad scientist. Aaaand Evility Live is when Daiji and Kagerou sync up just like Shotarou an Phillip whenever they go Double. Aaaaand its the arrival of the best walking plushie in existence! Lovekov! Im surprised you're not surprised to see a huge walking snake plushie during Jeanne's Invincible Jeanne henshin. Aaaaaand here comes Hiromi Parker, AKA Kamen Rider Demons. Oh cool its the other users. Dont worry, Georgie has his own later down the line. Aaaand here comes Kamen Rider Vail, ooooh and they showed both the main series and the Vail Prequel, impressive. And its Over Demons, Hikaru helped paved the way for Tamaki. And now for the Queen Bee, Kamen Rider Aguilera. OOoooh even added the Demons Troopers. And now for the another Reiwa Dad Rider, Destream! Aaaand its Georgie's small villain arc as Juuga! Fun fact: he sang a song reminescent to the Gokaiger Ending song but its for Kamen Rider. Ah Century, Its like Double but more futuristical. The coolest Revice villain, Fun Fact: the actor who played KR Daimon, he's also Ninja Black from Kakuranger. Ahhhh its KR Igarashi, weird fusion form but it makes sense. Oh its Dark Aguilera, weird we wont get that specific ViStamp tho Geats: Here comes the Highlight! Now its Geats' turn. Aaaaand there goes best kitty cat rich girl, Neon! I still cant believe Yuya hoe'd her character development after her Fantasy Form debut. Still salty about. And the guy who did that kick, that's Keiwa, KR Tycoon. Dont worry, he'll be cool a bit later. And there goes Buffa, the guy with the bull motif and Punkjack AKA Kiriya but a pumpkin. Its a shame Shirowe was using the cursed Armed Arrow RaiseBuckle. Oh fuck, its the grieving school shooter, Deadpan. Oh its Letter the sheep girl who wants to lose weight, now she has no weight at all(Yeah i'll see my self out) and using another cursed Armed Raise Buckle. Ahh the Jyamato Riders, when the Jyamato farmer and their supporter wanted to take over the DGP. Also you just saw the GM transform, he only did that cuz Geats was on a hot streak of wins. Ah Nudge Sparrow AKA Four Eyes and Lopo AKA Best Girl #2. Well now you're currently caught up. If you want, you can start watching Gotchard cuz rn its kicking into overdrive rn.

so you guys liked geats and its different riders look up the forms from that series they are for the most part amazing.

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight aired on the CW4Kids back in 2008. It did pretty well even winning an Emmy but was dropped by the network before the final 2 episodes could air(I remember the network changed hands so that may have hurt them). Unfortunately but amusingly the only way to see it now is the japanese or european subs of the dvd collection. It's shame it didn't do better as the producers were big fans of the older series and had even gotten a lot of the costumes rebuilt and repaired for the show. I remember them wanting to adapt Kabuto or Blade next if they ever got the go ahead.

19:44 there’s a CSM belt of this that ACTUALLY SENSES YOUR MOVEMENTS and will activate when you do the poses, the same goes with Kamen Rider Shadow Moon’s belt

Ngl even as a hard kamen rider fan Dragon Knight is pretty good for an adaptation. It actually tried to have similar tone as the original show while having their own spin unlike Masked Rider where it make the show extremely kid friendly

KR Dragon Knight had a decent story, it's a lot better than Saban's Masked Rider, and mind you I also grew up with the OG Zordon era Power Rangers, so I can tell the people who made Dragon Knight had a bit more understanding of Japanese tokusatsu, in terms of structure (though not perfect), than Saban did in the early 90s! As someone who enjoyed your Super Sentai and Metal Heroes reactions before this, I have to say this was not my favorite reactions by you guys because you guys kinda dissed my favorites KR Faiz and Den-O in the earlier episodes/parts, but it's cool. As for series recommendations, I would say start with the second phase of the Heisei era, like with KR W and onwards. If you guys are looking for more 'adult' oriented KR, I recommend KR Amazons (the modern reboot of Amazon), and KR Black Sun (the modern reboot of KR Black), they're both great. Also, would love to see you guys cover the Ultraman henshin/appearances and Metal Heroes henshin soon, looking forward to that next time. Cheers.

Even though the henshin seemed soulless a bit, a good amount of us enjoyed Dragon Knight. I did a rewatch of the show in 2019 and it still hit. Especially the original action scenes. They won a primetime Oscar because of it 😂

I would like to see another Kamen Rider adaptation but it needs to have style. Unique Henshin poses, crazy drip, all that good stuff.

I don't think adaptations will really be made anymore, that was more of a 90's era power rangers thing, people nowadays are more interested in seeing foreign things in their original format but with subs.

I think the only American Kamen Rider that'd fly today would be a 100% original series or movie, with its own interpretation of the concept. That way it can be celebrated on it's own merits in both the East and West.

As for Black Sun, it’s essentially a modernized take on KR Black, which also was made for a mature audience. 21:00 Ironic how you bring that up, as both Black Sun and Shadow Moon here get the iconic sword imagery of their Showa counterparts, is by ripping off one their hopper legs from their upper body, be it their Rider or Kaijin forms. 21:06 We avoid this like the plague 22:20 This was the second and final attempt to adapt Rider, which turned out great, as it actually did an adapted take on Ryuki’s story unlike Mask Rider which just did a one-man PR, however DK was shafted by CW which it aired on.

my recommendation would be for you guys to start on geats or build. praised for having a good storyline. Revice is my favourite but it is debatable with a lot other show. black sun, the newer amazons is considered for matured audience because of the darker tones with alot of gore. i dont recommend early showa era like kuuga to kiva because it was made for japanese audience so you might get confused with alot of the culture materials they put and the anecdotes of a real life references.

Kamen rider Geats would be a great starter into the franchise, esp since it just got a official north america release now with Kuuga, Zero one, Ryuki, and 1971 Ichigo, Heavily Recommend reacting to it on the channel

I think Zero one is a decent one to start. Not the best season, so it doesn't set your expectations to high; but also pretty decent to get you extra excited for the series!

Now they need to take a look at the finishers and the final forms for the riders

Kamen rider revice is about riders who use there inner demons to help fight against the worst demon of them all and Kamen rider Geats is about a free for all game called the rider grand pre and it allows them to fight eachother until one is left standing and when you end up being the winner you get a wish to change the world in whatever way you want

Man, I loved the Revice henshins so much, that season gets way overheated. I particularly love Jeanne's, it's a shame she didn't get her second form until like the final five episodes 😅.

The reason why Dragon Knights henshins don't hit the same is because Ryukis henshins are incredibly simple compared to most. As a show with it's story & all that, it's a good adaptation that I recommend watching. Masked Rider is the one that's hated because the writing is not good.
