As one who listens to Dimash reactions daily and applauds Roimer's mission, he should scale it down a wee bit. "7+ octaves" is sufficient. Believe it or not, Dimash's ultra-broad technical mastery on its own, with "only" six+ octaves, would still make him the best. He hits an Occasional dolphin note. He doesn't sing entire songs up there. Dears, don't sound silly. Pretty soon I'll be hearing it's nine octaves, then ten. My mother was a lifelong classical pianist and piano teacher, and I studied and played four instruments. Enough with the octave worship!
