Legends over here in Ol' Blighty. Iconic almost beyond compare. Adam [Stuart Goddard] nearly did himself a mischief during the filming of this video, when he leaped off of that tree branch at the beginning, as he was far higher off the ground than he expected to be. Thankfully, no harm done. Had a different image for each release from his Prince Charming album. And then Malcolm McLaren stole his band to form Bow Wow Wow, leaving Adam to change tack and pursue a [highly successful] solo career with some new recruits and his remaining Ant, Marco. A few years later he appeared in one of my favourite TV shows from America, the legendary Sledge Hammer!, playing the rogue The Pelican - great episode! This is a great song in a superb oeuvre.

Holy S***, An Adam Ant reaction. Thank You Thank You Thank You. I Love Adam and the Ants and never see reactor s doing any of their music. Adam had the sexy Swagger that women loved and the guys all wish they had. I would say "Room at the Top" and "Wonderful" are 2 of his best, and "Goody Two Shoes" his most popular (even though Adam actually ended up hating that song). Prince Charming is cool as well, who am I kidding, I love the entire Adam Ant library. Stay Awesome.

I loved Adam and the Ants. I had the double vinyl album 'Kings of the Wild Frontier' which was a wonderful album. They were pretty popular here in Australia. Love you Cat.
Camp as heck but super fun

Look at his early stuff around the same time as the Sex Pistols 👍
Brilliant x
You would have loved nightclubs in the UK during the Eighties. I was 17 when they disbanded but remember them well.
I love that deep " OH! " if that's what they're saying. It's like the punch line for the whole chorus. It wouldn't be complete without it!
Johnny Depp character lol. I was around 13 or 14 when this came out
That lip gloss though!!! And your welcome from are county to your's!!!🤘🏻🔥🇬🇧
Hi Darling....special 80s Song.....LOVE THIS....I must a Lullabey :-)
I read somewhere that when Adam did the crashing through the window scene, he badly injured his knee and had to go to hospital:(
Some reviewers didn’t even know it was about highwaymen or know what they were. Well done for treating this as FUN whereas others are left in confusion - such is the level of ignorance today and close-mindedness today.
So cool watching your beautiful smiling face so thoroughly enjoying this amazing song and video :-)

I've just realised that that's Amanda Donahoe in the carriage.

I was four or five when this came out wanted to be Dick Turpin or Prince charming... first album I bought was Wham 'Make it big' - sadly I am straight. Loved 'frankie' too.
Adam Ant being Capt Jack Sparrow way before Jonny Depp. :) Look at the gestures,.. I wonder if Mr. Depp was an Adam Ant fan....:)

Deutscher girls ....by AATA , just a pity it was again another end of 70's song, but it's where the band came from to where they ended up that's interesting
Let me be adamant with you Cat, not a huge fan of him, but I am of you!
Have a feeling you'll like Alestorm
