Hello child here of parents with an admittedly smaller age gap than them but Noel's right it sucks. My mom was 18 when she started dating my dad who was 35 at the time (17 year difference). He already had a kid from another marriage who's one year younger than my mom. I was born when my mom was 34 and my dad was 51. I don't have any memories of my dad picking me up or playing with me. When we went to Disney World my dad stayed home because walking in the heat was too hard for him. I learned to cook when I was 8 so I could take care of my dad when my mom wasn't home. Now my dad is 70 and my mom and I both work full time on top of having to be his nurses. Take it from me, it doesn't matter how much you love each other, don't do it. Don't do it to yourself. Don't do it to your kids. It may seem like a good idea at 20 but 30 years down the line you'll have nothing but regret.

My dad was 48 and my mom was 38 when I was born and I can't relate. He was the one that always picked me and my sister up from school and he was always there. He is 65 now and even though he is retired he does most of the chores at home cause my mom is still working. It always depends on the person and their bodies resistance.
