it was nerve racking! i love when ESC is like this- the televoting was mental! so not what i expected. and the winner was so unpredictable this year. thats what makes ESC exciting!

Well the winner was predictable. At last for me, I was expecting France or Italy. But the rest of the televote, oh my god. I know that Malta and Cyprus were ruin for perform 1st and 6th place, but it wasnt expecting that low notes...

@@bermerubio the crowd wants real music, i think the time runs out now for generic pop, that showed clearly with the low points for san marino and cyprus azerbaijan, serbia etc. - so the top 10 was full of original contenders with unique music- i realy loved that. i only hoped more for bulgaria and belgium.

@@motulifelikefigures1987 I think that too. The "pop divas" are always favourite or the pop ethnic songs, but ¿when they want?. 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2018 with Netta. I knew that San Marino, Azerbaijan etc were going to do bad. But I wasnt expect that of Malta and Cyprus. I cant belive Moldavia do better than those.

@@bermerubio moldova was a banger! one of my favourites- yes, she was a bad live performer but its not a vocal contest otherwise switzerland would have won. cyprus should be on the very bottom after uk - plagiarism shouldnt be allowed. but thats another topic. Malta i was shocked! i thought she was a televote favourite! what happend there? and lets celebrate the fact that in the top 5 there is only one english song-lol! it was a very very good year and did so good after this long break!:-)

"France gifted Italy the win" implies that Italy didn't do well enough to beat France regardless of how well or bad france did, but it was a fact that Zitti e Buoni was a favorite of the public and it wiped the floor with the French song when it came to televotes. The charisma and quality Italy served was simply on another level

What I want to say if both songs could win for several reasons. Both songs were masterpiece in their own ways. And Barbara performance wasnt as good as she used to be. I mean she didnt make the performance of the night. For that reason I said she gifted to Italy. She made the win easy for their rivals. And of course Manneskin made the performance of the night. Maneskin could be nervous too and ruin their chances. But that didnt happen. What I want to say is, if would nail their performances, who will won, France or Italy? We dont know. But France the big rival od France didnt perform as good so that make everything easiest for Manneskin.

Barbara wasnt as good in the final on for that reason she was third on televote and not second or first. Barbara song is the second selling song this year. But she was third on televote thats made my point right. Her performance wasnt as good as the other performance that she made.
