Mouse type palm sander has pointy bit and much easier to sand on awkward and odd shapes or patterns like this.

Wood stain treatment as i remember.

Hi! What did you apply on the headstock after sanding it! You rubbed something with a rag on it. Good job!

If you have not done anything like this it will take full day.but if you have the knowledge and the right tools it will be easy.the only pain is applying the decal.

When i print out the template its to small any idea whsts happening?

Did you download it as pdf then print it on A4 paper.when i downloaded the template no special setting just standard printing.

I experienced the same thing - I had to print it 105%

Once downloaded how do you get it to the correct size? I don't have good computer skills so I apologize for asking.

Hey,sorry i don't really have a pattern but what i did is i printed the Harley Benton headstock that i copy from the net then printed it on my normal printer using waterslide paper.the measurement of the logo i just sized it accourding the size of the headstock.

What he did is not all that accurate. The contour is already going down just before the string tree and really “humps downward” immediately past it.

I didn't understand why they don't just make them like that in the first place.

they can't, Fender have some patent or something for this shape, thats why only Fenders and Squiers can have these heads (body have slightly different shape, too)

The second the saw enters the headstock "I immediately regret this"
