How to spray paint and customize your bass guitar - PART ONE!
In this video (Part 1+2) i show my very first attempt to refinish and customize a bass guitar - a regular Harly Benton PB-50 LEFTHAND in "Fiesta red" into a RIGHTHAND "yellow" custom PB-Bass with pickup and bridge cover and matching headstock!
I sprayed with spray cans from "Duplicolor"!
1 can of "universal primer"
1 can of "yellow enamel laquer"
1 can of "clear coat"
I used sand paper with 240, 400, 600 & 1000 grit, all dry sanding!
For polishing I used a regular car polisher from Nigrin, sponge and a power drill!
TOTAL COST FOR BASS GUITAR, PAINT AND POLISH: appr. € 200,-

Thank you, Toni! I appreciate that!
Thank you for showing everything in Detail. That helps a lot! Though I would rather prefer a different choice of music. :D

me too :(
Harley Benton make 1950s style Fender Precision basses??? Some 600 Grit sandpaper, clear coat lacquer and one Fender Bass waterslide decal later, you've not even got a Squier bass but a Fender bass lol
Very nice work especially for your first time. I just ordered a pj50 and i plan on doing this sometime in the future, slowly upgrade it over time since its so cheap.
