    I'm researching for my story and wishing I had someone who would wish to do this with me; just the thought of attending a ball just once in my life? Oh the fun it would be!! Thank you so much for this, I feel confident with this scene now and I think it will greatly strengthen my story having done such research through this video. Again, thank you!

    Thank you! We attend a Victorian Ball in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, and this is wonderfully presented and we were able to practice to it. FYI other curious watchers, the song for the Virginia Reel on this video is "the Irish Volunteer".
