Wasn't the whole reason for it not working the missing centre pin due to the chinese factory forgetting to solder it?

Thank you for the informative video, short and to the point with good audio! Do you know if NP-F-series batteries in general does balanced charging internally or if there are external contacts for that purpose in high-end chargers?

Thank you for your comment. Chinese batteries and chargers are usually unbalanced, but genuine ones use Center tab on the battery to monitor its processes.

What does the pin other than plus and minus do? I also tried to use the 4s charging integrated circuit, but the device did not detect it because that pin was missing. How Can I Solve This? Battery board is faulty.

The 3rd pin sometimes used as a temperature sensor and and sometimes as a data (to check state of the battery)

Can you suggest what packs are suitable for rebuilding?

If you mean cells then I suggest pink Samsung cells INR18650-35E
