I got the Lucas Oil version and it is awesome... Like you, I also think the stock servo sucks, so I put in a Savöx 1210-SG and it is absolutely perfect!!! Drive straight as an arrow and it flies so smooth through the air! It is mesmerizing to see this masterpiece in the air! Love this car!!! Will change out the spindles and chassis braces to aluminum to make it slightly stiffer! But other than that, it’s awesome right out of the box! Now... There is one major issue with this... But it only applies if you’re using the Spektrum DX6R radio like me... The raceware 2.0 software does not yet support the S6100AT receiver, so you cannot use both AVC together with the built-in telemetry... Until the raceware app is updated, you need to set up the 6100AT as the SRS6000 receiver to use the AVC and then you will not be able to use the telemetry... Hopefully Spektrum gets their heads out of their asses and comes with the update real soon!

Yeah I'm still thinking about this one not 100% sure yet I got something else coming :-)

I've been looking for an RC like this for a while, really looking forward to the day it arrives!

I'm excited also as i was just about to buy one of the last remaining original desert buggies from the "Ten" series that had the aluminum chassis.I would have never bought one of the tenacity series buggies.This should be a great compliment to my mini eight db, thanks for getting this right out there and thanks losi for going back to quality rc's imo.

You could have always just bought a Tenacity DB and upgraded it if you didn't like the chassis. That's pretty much all this is.

Reminds me of the vaterra glamis buggy I had at one time...,

It's cool, but not much new except for electronics and colors. Price seems a little better too if the current DB doesn't drop in price.

I saw it has 17mm hexes as well as 4 spider gears

@@JayTeeRC Where did you see that? In the picture the wheels look exactly the same, just a different color.

The interest is there, but unfortunately I got other things going right now, but we'll see, besides I almost have all of my surface bases covered already.

Technical top rc, wide = good on track but again a losi that has got a really crap servo & even the spektrum electronics are junk ! Wires get verry hot even in cold conditions....

I so want this! But I remember when the SCBE came out it was just like this one, then they discontinued the SCBE and made the tenacity, a diet version with the battery load from the bottom and plastic shock and such, and now the dB pro, but isn't this just the SCBE in its old configuration? Cheers

That fox body is dope. I like the spektrum ESC. I hear that you can do some dope stuff with it. Seems like you can capture great car data.

Really cool to hear the history of this car, with the original, the pro upgrade, and now this new pro car. Do you think these drive the same as your average short course truck, or is it really a different class of car?

It's different...i owned 2 previous ones and I see they addressed issues of those. Like this has 17mm hexes for example

Me too!!!! The Losi Ten DB was a great buggy just needed up graded electronics. I hope they also but 4 spider gears in the diff of this one and not two like others

It's cool that they did this 👍 Hopefully they will do the truggy and MT with the performance upgrade as well. I'm not stoked about the smart electronics. Lots of cost to fully utilize it. Battery, charger, and a radio that will receive the real time data. I guess as long as you can still clip the connector and solder on what you want it's ok 👍 Will definitely cost more for the smart electronics though.....

Hey im thinking of getting this truck next month and was wondering since the tenacity tt pro and the db pro areidentical in chassis would the front bumber from the tt pro fit the db pro? I just dont like the idea of me smashing into something and theres nothing to protect the truck from a hard hit.. im guessing alot of broken arms if this doesnt work.

How do you think this stacks up to the Losi TEN SCBE?

4 spider gears in all three diffs, AVC , same rear hinged body , new spectrum motor/esc.transmitter can be upgraded to read mph,rpm,temp, voltage from your phone all for $99. and has a memory and can store info for 10 vehichles.

Unless Tower Hobbies is wrong, the Pro diffs are the same the regular version.
