These are just great. Have 3 different cars one of which is a Everest 10 and have a rear wheel steering kit coming. Have a new neighbor that is really into RC. got lucky he is 41 and I am 78 never to late to have some fun. He is building a course in his back yard. So, could not be happier to have a good neighbor finally.

Yeah that’s what this hobby is all about, having fun you meet great people, I love super slow crawling watching the suspension work

I'm glad I found your channel, though I feel I'm a bit late, lol I just got my first crawler, a redcat gen8 I've been upgrading, also started collecting a literal ton of rocks and logs and random pallets and 2x4s to make a back yard course. I cant wait to get it all together. Keep the vids coming.

Wow thanks for being so nice! Yes they have winter and summer schedule and I have been told they do have an outdoor crawler pit although I have not seen it, next comp I believe is the last winter comp of the year and is a trophy event. Hope to see you there sometime!

@@JT_JET you should upgrade that trx4 servo, was definitely holding back that beauty. Holmes shv800 will break a plastic panhard mount right off.

@@ryurc3033 yeah servo would help when im trying to turn with weight on, but they work, so we're just trying to burn them out but they just don't break 😅 probably end up with a triple4 or triple5 wont need much more then 350oz of turning power and booth of them do well over that at 6v so i wont have to get a BEC or upgrade the ESC when we do finally get new servos. thanks for being helpful and kind :D happy trucking!

Hey man just a little advice I heard you say that you put your stock wheels back on to keep up your wheel speed. you should never be concerned about wheel speed unless your mud bogging. you don't need wheel speed for crawling the slower you go the better you will do.

i respectfully disagree 😆i mean you sound so knowledgeable then you know that's not true, i could show you sooooo many times where wheel speed saved rigs from having to back up due to just like slightly high center or dif knock, maybe even just a wet tire and your right at the top of a long climb, anyways i appreciate the still great advice i totally understand what your getting at, in general yes if your on dry rock never pushing your rig past where the tire will break lose then yes low wheel speed is all you will ever use. i hope you enjoyed the show, thanks for watching and have a great evening!

@@JT_JET sorry but you couldn't be more wrong. i have been in this hobby for 30 plus years and i also compete in 1/1 full scale crawling. its called crawling for a reason, if your an experienced driver and know where to place your tires and have the correct tire and suspension setup than a back up is not needed. even on wet surfaces if you have to give it wheel speed to get up an obstacle than your taking the wrong line and or have cheap garbage tires. you should do some more research on real rock crawling and you will see what i mean. o and i have been where your at on this video and i crawled everything and didn't spin a tire and that was with a stock RTR all i did was put better tires on it.

heyo, i understand the struggle. so i dont like to tell people where to shop, what to buy, or how do to something just keep in mind i acknowledge my lack of knowledge before suggesting you anything. what i found to be the best is a 6inch figure that way they fit in a seat without choping there legs off but they dont fill the inside up quit as much and when outstide the vehicles they look a little small. so you may also like a 7inch figure but you may have to trim down the legs to the waste for some to fit, of cut up interior of the RC. all that being said i just bought our figures at Amazon.com just type in 6inch or 7inch figures and you will get tons to choose from, after that we like to go yard sales and antique stores best of luck and happy trucking

adding a camera to the car will make the top heavy , i would never do that . and adding points for using reverse is not fair for some bigger cars . they should change that . and time limit to 10 minutes max . else you feel presured and make mistakes
