I’ve been an RBX fan since “The Chronic”. I call him the Vincent Price of West Coast Hip Hop. No one can match that SINISTER flow of his. He’s testament that all G.O.A.T.s ain’t mainstream. Respect due, Bigg Long Beach!!

He was Death Row. He was on The Chronic and Doggy style. Nobody needs to see the paper work millions took it as you were apart of the team. Same as Tray Deee, Bad Azz for a minute and The Outlawz

Ironically, the DOC made a song called Whirl Wind, if memory serves. So that DJ calling the Chronic albm a "Whirl Wind" was prophetic.
RBX had the streets in Dallas with Dre, Snoop, and Lady Of Rage back in the day. He probably didn't even know how huge he was in the Nawf Tex.
RBX just comes off as a down-to-earth dude....easy to support that energy

Yeah, the genius of Death Row is that they made a lot of party music with a gangsta edge. Most of their single records showed the friendlier/glamorous side to gang culture, complete with music videos focused on beach barbeques, cruising in lowriders, house parties, and the club, etc. Meanwhile, gangsta rappers from other labels focused on making straight up drive-by music, and ended up not getting played in the soccer mom mini van (which is where the money's at).
